The BIG Day

The day FINALLY came!  I am officially a big kid.  I woke up to my first day of life as a 4 year old with a stack of gifts waiting for me.  Bryce got me some superhero squad guys, a superhero book and a great new Spiderman shirt.  Thanks kid!  Mom and Dad got me some legos and t-ball gear!  Of course, I couldn't wait to get outside and try it out.

I'm pretty good!

A little less skilled at the catching, but I LOVE my glove that Papa gave me as a baby and that's what matters most.  One of my parents is really excited that I'm getting big enough to play sports, the other is sad that I'm getting too big to do mushy stuff and am now even wiping her kisses off.

You know you're pretty special when people will drive 6 hours just to spend time with you.  Papa and Nana did it last weekend, and even though Bugga has been sick, he and Grandma drove all the way down to spend my birthday with me.  We went out to eat at the Cheesecake Factory and I even got a happy birthday Sundae.  Here's the little man charming our lovely Grandma.

When I got home, Mom showed me the Spiderman cake in the fridge!  It was red inside and blue outside with WEBS on it!  There's my trusty dusty Spiderman candle on top too.  That's the third birthday cake he's graced.

What a great birthday.  Here's the party crew in the playroom before Bugga and Grandma drove home.
