Times Are Changing

What a big week!  Dad started his new job (no more weekends!) and B started at daycare.
Of course, our (s)Mother took the whole week off.  Some people are good about jumping into
change, others need a week to ease into it.  I couldn't have been more excited about bringing B to daycare to
show him off to my friends.  I even let Mom dress us alike!

I took really good care of him for the entire two hours Mom could stand to let him stay.
He had a blast and I made sure nobody was mean to him.  That's what big brothers do.

Looking Good Buzz!  I'm so happy you get to come hang out with me at daycare!

Will n' Me

Around here, good boys get plenty of rewards.
This week we got the best reward ever - a sleepover with WILL!
We really wanted to make a party tent so Dad and B set it up.

B was a big help.  He was pretty happy to have Will around too.
Who wouldn't be happy to have a great guy like Will stay over?!

We insisted on taking a bath asap.  Will wanted to check out my bath toys.
Mom wasn't sure what the age was when boys were too big to bath naked together
so she made us wear trunks and we thought that was the funniest thing ever.
Maybe we're not at that age just yet...

Of course, we played really nicely with B.  He's one of the gang!

We get along really well at school and at home too.

In the morning Dad made an Easter Egg hunt for us!  We had a blast running around
like maniacs trying to see who could find more eggs.

We both did really well.

We helped B find eggs too.  Um - none on the ladder little buddy.

What a great haul, eh?
Thanks for spending the night Will!  Let's start plotting for another
one soon.

Mother's Morning

We had an awesome Mother's Morning at Pre-school today.
The theme was Nursery Rhymes and Mom and I got to spend 2.5 hours
moving from station to station doing fun activities and learning about
numbers, letters and patterns.
My favorite nursery rhyme is still Humpty Dumpty.
Mom says I make the cutest Humpty and she hopes I never fall!

Second Annual Easter Fest

Can you believe it's already time for Easter?!  Mom packed us up and took us in
for the children's Easter Day at church this morning.  Our friend the big ol' turkey was there.
B wasn't scared at all.  I think he remembered us from last year.

And the donkey REALLY liked licking B's hand.
Ewwww!

The littlest Vandy was a terror!  He was everywhere and into everything.
It certainly did take many parents to keep him contained today.
Thanks everyone for the help!

When I wasn't helping Mom with B, I was busy playing with my friends Logan and Seth.
Here Logan and I are getting ready for the big hunt after church.

B even got a couple of eggs!

Great job bud!

I came back and helped him get his 8.  That's what big brothers do.

What an awesome day with our friends at church.
Thanks Jesus for Easter and everything you do for us.

Right Hand Man

I'm on Spring Break this week so of course, I'm helping the old man get
the yard ready.  It's a lot of work, but I'm not afraid to pitch right in - especially
when I know he's got $5 waiting on the other end of it for me!

I raked for 45 min. straight.

Then we came in to hot showers and a nice cuddle.
I love being home with my favorite people :)

Co-Ed?!

Today was my first Boys and Girls birthday party!
Aida invited the whole class to come.
Of course, the boys stuck together and the girls did whatever silly things
it is girls do.

We were all dripping sweat.  No wonder the girls kept their distance.
That's Cain in the back, Jackson in the middle and me in the front.

How Many Big Kids?

Mom left for Utah this Sunday and when she told me I was going to have babysitters, I was NOT happy.
Add caption
She quickly told me Bryce was actually going to have babysitters and I was there to help them take care of him.  That went over much better for me and honestly, I had an awesome time "helping" Sydney and KK!  I don't think B minded one bit either :)

First Romp in the Sprinkler!

It was 80 degrees today!  Dad was nice enough to break out the sprinker.
I went full speed ahead.

B was doing something with his head...

He loved wearing this little hat.

And he thought the sprinkler was pretty interesting too.

Until he got a little sprinkle.

Then I was OUT!

First gunshow of the season usually goes hand in hand with the first time I sport my swimsuit.

And.. . B's first knee scrape.
All in all a fantastic Spring Day.

Signs of Spring in Vandyville

We've been outside all week!  Of course you know what we make a beeline for the minute
we step outside - The Girl's House.  Even B knows where they live.

B is still getting used to the trampoline.  He mostly just cuddles with Sydney while we're on it.

Me... I like to go CRAZY!

B would really rather play on terra firma.  There are lots of balls
there and Sammy to chase. Who wouldn't love that?

And... back in Vandyville, a family has moved into our birdhouse.
Hey Baba - it works!  We love watching the birds build their nest
and can't wait to see what goes on all summer.

Happy Spring!

Baby McCurdy!

And.. the reason for our trip!  Baby McCurdy's Shower!
We got to celebrate with some of our oldest and best friends, The McCurdy's.
Look how big our princess Avery is getting!

B was in heaven surrounded by so many beautiful women.

I was pretty happy too :)
Does it really get any better than this?
So many beautiful Moms fawning over B.
What a great party.  What a great family.
Congratulations McCurdys!  We can't wait to meet
your new little man!

What a Week

Around here you never know what to expect from old man winter.
This week he sent us BIG hail stones.

So, we decided to get outta dodge and headed up to Grandma and
Bugga's house to celebrate some big things.
#1  Was Sueann's birthday!
HAPPY 11th BIRTHDAY SUE!
Shayla crammed B's big butt into Bitty Baby's stroller and rolled him round and round.

Grandma was very happy to see us even though we're incredibly high maintenance.

There was CAKE!  We're both really big fans of blowing out candles.

Sue had plenty of help.

Once the cake was out, I didn't let it out of my sight for a second!

Shayla may have had a little more fun with hers than the rest of us did :)

After we opened presents, Uncle Scott showed me some new tricks.

Bugga couldn't quite figure it out, but I'm quick!

We spent the rest of the day impressing Grandma and Bugga with our great
behavior and getting along wonderfully like we always do.

And, I even showed Bugga how to play Angry Birds!

So, the night was a big hit until about 3am when I woke up and barfed all over Grandma's bed and floor.
Sorry Grandma!
