A little bit more interested in the ice breakers but only when we got to race around and push people off benches. If you didn't play hard enough you had to stand in the middle and talk. NO WAY! |
Finally we were free to roam the camp. |
We went straight to the slip n slide. Forget Arts and Crafts! |
We spent hours on this thing! |
It was SO much fun! |
and a lot of good exercise. |
Wooo Hoooo. |
Hey guys, wait up! It was all great except when I got bit AGAIN by a horsefly! |
Off to archery a little later on. We didn't shoot anything alive so that was a success. |
Horseback riding was much anticipated. |
I got the lead horse named Navajo! |
Aiden got a really pretty horse named |
I'm pretty much a pro at horseback riding. Mom came along behind me on Big Al. It was a pretty uneventful ride but I loved every minute. |
Off to a nice round of mini golf which we quickly turned into a full on combat event. |

Mom insisted on going with me. I wanted to go with my friends, but I didn't want to leave her scared and alone so I caved. |

Finally, it was time to decide. Go off or get off. They counted down 3...2..and I just couldn't wait any longer! See ya Mom! |
Zip Line Success!
Aiden and Alex climbed up after us and Aiden went right off too! Alex is going to try again next year and we know he'll nail it. What a great time!
We spent more time in the lake and at the campfire and walking in nature before we retired to our cabin to discover Mom had not packed my sleeping bag. So, cuddled up together on a rubber camp twin sized mattress. I slept like a baby! Mom.... not so much. It was no surprise that we skipped all morning activities and hit the road.
We'll be back next year! Thanks Camp Lakeview!
