Great Canadian Adventure - The Wedding

Of course we all made a beeline for the potty when we finally arrived at Bonne Cherre Caves. Then we had to go outside to wash our hands!

We thought this was the coolest idea EVER.

Our hands have never been so clean.

Aunty Charlotte looked spectacular!

We had to wait just a bit for Uncle Phil to come out of the cave, and we dive bombed him when he did!

We finally got to meet our new cousin Merlin.

Mom got the two of us and herself dressed en route. Daddy had to change when we arrived so he was the last one out. He was happy to see Uncle Phil too.

Brothers don't shake hands, brothers gotta hug!

B kept yelling about wanting to be a skeleton. Mom finally figured out that he wanted to take his picture here.

More happiness

Merlin and Coley became instant buds.

While B got busy burning off a BUNCH of pent up little boy energy.

He quickly became a crowd favorite.

Aunty Charlotte's family speaks French. They were so cool!

Mom and Aunty Charlotte sure did hug and cry a lot. Weird...

Time to start! Aunty Charlotte's sister put us in the mood with some incense.

Then into the cave we went.

It was hard to not push pass Hind but Mom kept telling me to BE CAREFUL. Okay Mom, you're the one who was silly enough to wear high heels!

We weren't afraid at all.

As promised! There were bats!

Not very many, but they were there!

We came to an opening in the cave walls and there were lots of candles and some chairs. Time to get hitched Unc!

This guy was pretty funny. His name is Tyler and he was sort of like Uncle Phil's best man.

The ceremony was bi-lingual!

Mom says they were all speaking the language of love. Okay, that's really lame Mom!

We passed their rings around and everyone added their wishes for the new couple.

Oh and there was writing inside!

One of the bats started flying around during the ceremony. Yikes!

Time to leave the cave.

It was well lit so that was good! It sure was cold in there though.

Mom said Daddy looked so handsome.

It felt like we were in Ireland at the exit. What a pretty place!

Mom issued many stern warnings to stay ON the path.

How did she know we might stray? We are the very picture of innocence and obedience.

Lots of mischief around for us to explore.

After signing their lives away, the happy newlyweds emerged to cheers and more hugs.

Cole politely declined, but B was all about the child's version of this beverage!

He did "Cheers" with everyone there.

Then he tried to swipe Mom's shot when his was all gone. Luckily Hind was on hand to distract him.

Back to little boy shenanigans.
