Plotting Trouble

We had a fantastic time planning a little surprise for one of our all time favorite people this week.

That's right!  Julie is the BIG 4-0!

She is fabulous.... there's no denying it.

We got to the party pretty early so we could help set up the pictures and plan our places for the big reveal.

We also appointed ourselves as the pre-party entertainment.  B worked the crowd like Seacrest on the Red Carpet.

I helped with the cake and made sure the chocolate bars tasted alright.

It wasn't easy being patient, but we pulled it off.



Mom helped me be on the lookout for Julie.

She finally arrived!

I had big hugs for the birthday girl!

B did too

 Of course, we played with our girls too!

 We had the BEST time.

 Mom says the little Vandy quote of the day was:
Cole "I sure hope Julie doesn't get 178 because then Dad won't want to marry her."
She thinks he'd take her at any age :)

 Near the end of the party, I ran a quick tutorial for Julie.  There were a lot of candles to blow out and I wanted to be sure she knew just how to do it.

My lessons helped!  She got em all!

 Then we stole the star of the show for a quick picture with our family.

 And... we had to duck out early because a certain party animal was POOPED!
