The Resort

We spent the rest of Day 1 exploring the resort. First stop - the fishing hole
Cole was a "natch."

He got nibble after nibble

GO COLEY! PULL IT! YANK IT! Oh.. you're not supposed to yell?

I was itching to get started and demanded Dad help me RIGHT NOW.

I also demanded that the fish bite RIGHT NOW.

I did a lot of bossing and complaining.

It turns out fishing is pretty lame and boring. It requires something called patience, which also sounds pretty lame and boring.

I decided to try to catch the 20+ turtles who were sunning themselves on this log instead.

C'mon bro! This is much easier prey.

Shockingly, we also didn't manage to nab a turtle. Fishing was a pretty big bust, so we decided to climb this mountain instead.

We may have gotten in a bit of trouble for running full speed straight down.

Dad said "no more!" but we have another parent who is much less cautious. Mom convinced him to let us try again if she came along.

We made it all the way up and most of the way down safely. There may have been a few lapses in judgement, but we have A Team Guardian Angels so we were covered.

Next up was the playground.

It was your standard everyday playground. Not unlike the one at school.

Except, whoa! These things worked!

Can you hear me bro?!

Proof the parents were there :) Smile guys!
