Cesspool Fun

Today was the last day of Spring Break. Mom managed to pull together one last outing to Raymond Park pool. I decided to try my first waterslide!

Fear conquered!
We met up with some buddies (Jax's Cousin, Jax, Cole). Mom thought the water looked like a cesspool and said there was NO way she was getting in.

Your loss Ma! You missed hanging out with these awesome studs. (B, Tucker, Jude and Wes (Tucker's older brother)

Nobody contracted any weird diseases and we all had a blast. What a great ending to an awesome Spring Break.

Hiking with Heroes

You can't possibly go to a place as beautiful as Gatlinburg and not go exploring. We decided to take a late evening hike tonight.

If there's one thing I've learned from my Pa, it's to always pack some heat.

I saw something that looked like a bear off in the distance and I'm a boy so...

Not a bear Ma!
B came with me and we beat it up just in case.

I think he was trying to pull a pied piper trick with his harmonica.

He played and played and played.

The trail got a little rough, but no matter for us!

We hiked about 2 miles. Mom did a little more because she had to go back to find B's harmonica at the top of a steep hill.

As usual, we had NO luck catching any of the zillion squirrels we saw in the woods. I thought it was likely due to the insane amount of noise we made, but we decided it'd be smart to blend in with our surroundings anyway.

See how well we did?!

Here's the same tree Mom took a picture in when she came with Dad last fall.

B lost his harmonica TWICE on the walk and it ended in a rainstorm. No matter though, Mom found it again the next morning. She was the hero of the day.

Mountain Living

One last porch sit before we had to pack it up and head home.
I dubbed this the best vacation we've ever had and we're all fully on board with the family goal to buy a vacation spot in Tennessee.

4 Wheel Madness

The event Dad was most looking forward to was a visit to the 4 Wheeling ranch.

There was some really wildlife.

And a HUGE slide

Free bounce houses that were absolutely caked with mud.

I took my socks and shoes off so I wouldn't get too dirty.

This goat was a super stinker.

Maybe these two are brothers. He would not stop messing with the poor old pig.

The big brother (goat) poked and prodded and the little brother (pig) squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeealed.

Stop touching me. Stop touching me. Stop touching me.

Mom finally had to step in and do her Mom thing.

She called that bratty goat over for a snack.

He liked Mom just fine.

but he adored B!

he liked me too.

Goat got a snack, we made a friend and piggy got to have a little peace.

We were pumped for our off roading.

Nobody more so than the big man!

All smiles in the back seat!

Some sort of weird photobomb by Mom.

Another attempt at a selfie with Cole.

B was calm the entire ride. Mom even thought he dozed off for a bit. All of that changed when he got a little mud on his pants though.

Mom got a little carsick being whipped around in the back but it was totally worth it for this Christmas card photo.

And this is why Dad wants to buy land out there so much.

Remember how I took my socks and shoes off in order to stay clean?

You're welcome Ma.

B didn't want to tear himself away from his new buddy, but we had to go off to our next mountain adventure.

Which was a long long trip on a narrow winding road to look at this property out in the middle of nowhere. Mom actually got carsick getting here. That's a deal breaker Dad. Sorry.

Comedy Barn Ninja Bandit

Mom and Dad took us to the Coleman outlet store and once again, let us have our pick. I chose binoculars and B found this weird neoprene mask that didn't even have tags on it.

He wore it all around the store.

You never know what to expect with B.

I mean...  what would you think if you rounded a corner and saw this?!

The mask stayed on for the rest of the day. He even wore it to the amazing comedy show we went to that night. Dad said he thought people must've thought he was a burn victim or something.

Probably the highlight of the entire trip was when they called all the kids on stage and the camera man went nutty seeing a little kid up there dancing in his ski mask! We bought the video so if you're in Vandyville, be sure to catch a peek. Our tummies hurt for days from laughing so very hard.
