Memorial Day Memories

What a great Memorial Day!
We got back together with some friends we've not seen, but certainly not forgotten for years.
I got to play with Quinten and Olivia!

It was SO hot out.  We Vandy boys didn't help with the heat index ;)

The big kids had a blast on the slip and slide and in the pool.

B and Daddy raided the cookie plate.

What's that Mommy?  You don't want me to hand him to you in your white shorts?  Why not?

After a quick clean-up, B set to work charming the youngest Masterson princess, Hannah.  He showed off his beefyness.  Chicks did beefy guys.

When she wasn't showing much interested, he sought out some tips from the main man in her life, Papa Masterson.  Whoa.  That didn't get him much further!

So, he showed her a few more moves, then headed inside to charm the grown ups.

He soon made a new best friend Thumbee!  He was glued to the guy's side for the rest of the afternoon.

What a nice party.  Thanks Espinosa's for remembering us.
And a special note from the editor to remember a few people near and dear to us:
Dido Brischuk, Dido Bodnar, Q and the Fosters.

Hangin' With The Big Boys

One of the biggest perks of being a little brother is that you get to tag along to all the cool big boy events.
Today, I got to go to Chuck E Cheese for Braylon's 5th Birthday Party.  Cole was his surprise and they were so happy to see each other.

I was pretty happy just to be somewhere in amongst the people and the awesome rides.

Hey Mom, let's go to a birthday party EVERY day!

My favorite thing to do was put the coins in.

Cole is pretty smart.  He and Braylon knew how to play almost every game there!

Dad helped me.  I think he likes the games more than the kiddos!

My big brother is a true Hoosier.  He's a bit of a whiz with a basketball.

Mom may have snuck up on the two buddies as they walked around holding hands.  Braylon's Mom told Daddy "it's just a bromance!  No worries."  If you keep letting me hang out, I won't tell anyone dudes.

Okay, I don't want to brag, but we Vandy boys TORE the dance floor UP.

I'm not sure, okay I'm pretty sure Chuck E was a little bit afraid of me by the end of dinner. I couldn't get enough of him!

And...  Mom pulled a fast one on Cole by slicing a piece of pizza up into "breadsticks."  Can you believe he ate it AND liked it?!  I chowed two slices down and then put down a massive piece of cake.  Nobody has to trick me into eating.

Cole got a little excited after the birthday song.  I think we may need to get these two buddies together more often!

I'm a man's man.  A golf clap is all I had to offer.

It was all I could do to not dive bomb the cake when the candles were on it.  I LOVE blowing out birthday candles.

Braylon didn't want to do the ticket grab so of course, being the solid wing man that he is, Cole stepped up.

And he won 1,000 bonus tickets!  That's gotta buy at least 1 bag of skittles!  Nice job Bro.

What a fantastic time I had tagging along.  Thanks for letting us join in on the fun Braylon and family!
See you again soon.

17 Months

Mom says she thinks Father Time may be resting on the Fast Forward button these days.
I'm already 17 months old!  Now that I'm pretty much grown, I can do all the important things myself.
Like getting snacks, and taking off diapers and opening doors. All critical life skills.

I'm also getting really good at charming the ladies.  I can give disapproving looks which make anyone want to curl up and die.  Or..

I can turn on the charm :)  Mom thinks we may have another salesman in the family.

Other developmental milestones include:
I can say:  Poop, Boobies and Booty (thanks to Cole).  I can also say Cole, Daddy, Meow, Hi, Hola, Bye bye, Up, Choo Choo, outside, shoes, juice, milk, buddy, Bugga, School, Up, Mommy, Ball, This, Uh Oh and a few other important words.
I also know how to dance, kick (thanks Cole), Climb, throw a ball, kick a ball and eat with a fork.
I'm right on track with my height and weight and am growing up really fast.

Life is pretty sweet!

Who Turned up the HEAT?

Wow, was it HOT out this weekend!
We spent most of our waking hours trying to cool off.  Lucky for we men
we can go out with minimal clothing.

I am not known as the skinny kid 'round here.  I take pride in my nice belly!

My hair has gotten pretty white. Dad says his is headed that way too.
I may not always jump in and join the action, but I do love cheering for my nutty brother.

He was soaking wet ALL weekend!

Give the kid a little water and he's happy for hours.
Mom says he used to be averse like me, but he went through some sort of intense water therapy treatment with Dr. Sydney and Dr. KK?  I sure hope she doesn't plan to enroll me anytime soon!

Don't tell Daddy we snuck this hunky shot on the blog.

Especially since he will most likely be jealous.  We all know who's the real beefcake 'round here!

Hopw you're all enjoying the great outdoors as much as we are!

After Party

After a rowdy sleepover at my house, we all got up and went straight back to school for the after party!
It was pretty windy out, but we were all happy to have one last play time together.  Here I am with Seth, Hayden, Logan, Aleah, Katie, and Riley (front row LtoR).

Three hoodlums - Hayden, Logan and I.

I was off socializing so B had to represent our generation.
Here's Bugga, Ota, Daddy and B.  All those good looks in one place.
Mom says the ladies should have to sign waivers!

There were plenty of games to play.  We had fun golfing until a certain rowdy toddler ran off with the ball.

B ran around like he owned the place.

Grandma did a good job keeping up with him.

Which allowed Mom and Dad to play with me.  I loved the parachute!  Thankfully we had my super strong Dad there to help fight with it against the wind.

Hayden and I had some fun on the Monkey bars.

Luckily we'll see each other all summer at daycare.

We dug for dinosaur bones on the nature path.

and Mrs. Golab painted our hands.  The girls all got their faces painted, but that is not for boys.

Thanks to my awesome family who took time off work and drove a long long way to come and celebrate this milestone with me.  What an awesome end to my freedom, er...  childhood, er...  pre-school days :)  I guess I'd better make the most of this summer because Mom says it's time to get serious this fall!

Shining Star

Wednesday was my last day of pre-school.  Like FOREVER!
We marked the big day with my last pre-school show.
As a superstar, I made sure my fans had boxed seats to my performance.
In attendance were Mommy, Daddy, and Bryce of course. But all the way from Granger, IN were Grandma, Bugga and Ota!

B was happy to show Bugga and Grandma all around the gym.
You know he goes to Zion now too!

He is definitely a HUGE Ota fan.  Who isn'??

I think he also loves Grandma.  Okay, I KNOW he also loves Grandma.

Luckily, I got to stand by my best buddy from class, Logan.
That's me in the farmer's outfit.  I was Little Boy Blue!

Okay, I had the best part of the whole show!  My job was to lay there and do a giant snore.  It was a big hit but my friends couldn't stop giggling afterwards.  We superstars cannot be held accountable for the reactions of our adoring fans.

Mom stayed up front to snap pictures of our buddy Will too.  He was the only "letter" who didn't pick his nose and remembered all the actions.  Do I know how to pick my best buds or what?!

What a great "N."  Nice work bud.

Mom tried to help the other three, but they were pretty goofy so she just focused on smiling at Will and cheering for him.

How embarassing.  That's Maisie, my girlfriend (she claimed me from Katie).
She's in the grey t-shirt and shiny skirt.  She was a really cute elephant.

Bryce clapped and clapped for me.  He said he wants to be just like me when he goes to pre-school.
Thanks kid!

He made sure nobody in the stands got bored.  It's hard work to keep all those grown ups entertained.

That's my buddy Hayden.  He was a flag holder.

And my other buddy Seth - he was a great clown.  He even did a little improv summersault!

Logan and I made it all the way to the end before we started messing with each other.

Will and I were pretty happy when the show was over.  The Momparazzi managed to grab a shot backstage before we took off for the afterparty.

Thanks for coming to watch me family!  What a great last show of my pre-school career.

KINDERGARTEN OR BUST!!!
