Weekend With Daddy!

For as long as we can remember, it's been Mommy, B and Cole on the weekends.
That's been a little less lame lately because B is finally able to fight and play with me.

And it was a LOT less lame this weekend because Daddy was here with us
both days!  He knows just how to play rowdy boy games.
He took us to play at the arcade.  I beat him AND Mom in air hockey and I kicked Dad's butt in bumper cars too.

B had a great time sitting in his favorite race car.  That kid sure does love cars, trucks and trains.

Lookout Carl Edwards!

We knew it was time to go when B started making out with the rack of racoon hats in the gift shop.

Nap Time!

We got to go to church, out for dinner, out for ice cream and Dad and I even got to go fishing.
What an awesome time we had as a whole family.  We can't wait for more!

Will - Round 2

Will stayed the night again this week!
We had a fantastic evening riding my four wheeler and playing.
We actually fell asleep before 9pm this time too.
Unfortunately, Will woke up and ralphed all over the place in the
middle of the night.

Talk about a trooper though!  He went back to sleep and was gung ho
in the morning - even though he ralphed again!
He had a good reason.  We had plans to go to the children's museum.
You can see, my buddy is tough.
I had a great time there too!

B was anxious to see everything.

He's keeping up more and more these days.
Mom says her baby is slowly leaving her (sniff) and
turning into a stinky little boy.

Dad tried to hold the little man still for a picture.
No such luck Pops.

He was glued to my side and I didn't mind one bit.

Mom did manage to score a little "B and Me time."  Guess where he went?
Yup.  Straight for the fridge, just like at home.
"Hey Mom!  Where's lunch?!"

And.. his favorite part of the whole museum were these spinning face panels.
He was fixated on the grandma and grandpa.  I think someone misses you!

Will hung on like a trooper the whole time we were there.

He checked out everything.

I did too.
Sorry to say, he ralphed again four times in the parking lot when we took him to his Mom.
Thanks for hanging in there bud.  Hope you feel better soon!

16 Months

Hi!  I'm 16 months already.  Mom says I'm growing up even faster than Cole did.
I'm climbing and running and kicking and jumping and waving hi and good bye.  I blow kisses and give five.
I dance and I sing, I say up, hi, buh bye, Cole, Mama, Daddy, Boots, Ball, Milk, Dude, KK, Buddy and anything else you ask me to say, I'll try!  Lately, I'm really big on hide and seek, tag and kitchen utensils.  I love to use my spoon, although I have to admit, it's not the most efficient way to eat.

I find my hands MUCH more useful!  They're especially good to use on oatmeal!

What's that Mom?  I'm not to throw it at Bella?!  Why not?

The best part about oatmeal is that it also makes a great pillow.
This is right about the time in the photo shoot when Mom threw the camera and yelled
"Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!"
Here's to being 16 months and doing whatever I please.  Lookout world, I'm coming for you next :)
And... here's a flashback to what I was doing just one year ago:

Times Are Changing

What a big week!  Dad started his new job (no more weekends!) and B started at daycare.
Of course, our (s)Mother took the whole week off.  Some people are good about jumping into
change, others need a week to ease into it.  I couldn't have been more excited about bringing B to daycare to
show him off to my friends.  I even let Mom dress us alike!

I took really good care of him for the entire two hours Mom could stand to let him stay.
He had a blast and I made sure nobody was mean to him.  That's what big brothers do.

Looking Good Buzz!  I'm so happy you get to come hang out with me at daycare!

Thunder Man

Look what Mom brought home from Texas Friday night?!
These tubes can be bent into ANYTHING.
Of course, I made the coolest costume ever and spent the entire
day Saturday imagining adventures and putting on Thunder Man shows for Mom
and Dad.  Thanks Mom!  This almost makes up for you ditching us for 6 whole days!

Will n' Me

Around here, good boys get plenty of rewards.
This week we got the best reward ever - a sleepover with WILL!
We really wanted to make a party tent so Dad and B set it up.

B was a big help.  He was pretty happy to have Will around too.
Who wouldn't be happy to have a great guy like Will stay over?!

We insisted on taking a bath asap.  Will wanted to check out my bath toys.
Mom wasn't sure what the age was when boys were too big to bath naked together
so she made us wear trunks and we thought that was the funniest thing ever.
Maybe we're not at that age just yet...

Of course, we played really nicely with B.  He's one of the gang!

We get along really well at school and at home too.

In the morning Dad made an Easter Egg hunt for us!  We had a blast running around
like maniacs trying to see who could find more eggs.

We both did really well.

We helped B find eggs too.  Um - none on the ladder little buddy.

What a great haul, eh?
Thanks for spending the night Will!  Let's start plotting for another
one soon.

Mother's Morning

We had an awesome Mother's Morning at Pre-school today.
The theme was Nursery Rhymes and Mom and I got to spend 2.5 hours
moving from station to station doing fun activities and learning about
numbers, letters and patterns.
My favorite nursery rhyme is still Humpty Dumpty.
Mom says I make the cutest Humpty and she hopes I never fall!

Monkey See Monkey Do

I learn all kinds of cool things from my big brother.  Like climbing on the walls and the
furniture.  We love playing WIPEOUT!

I also learn how to make lots and lots of noise!
We're still the best of friends and love being around each other.
Here's to having an awesome big brother to learn from.

Second Annual Easter Fest

Can you believe it's already time for Easter?!  Mom packed us up and took us in
for the children's Easter Day at church this morning.  Our friend the big ol' turkey was there.
B wasn't scared at all.  I think he remembered us from last year.

And the donkey REALLY liked licking B's hand.
Ewwww!

The littlest Vandy was a terror!  He was everywhere and into everything.
It certainly did take many parents to keep him contained today.
Thanks everyone for the help!

When I wasn't helping Mom with B, I was busy playing with my friends Logan and Seth.
Here Logan and I are getting ready for the big hunt after church.

B even got a couple of eggs!

Great job bud!

I came back and helped him get his 8.  That's what big brothers do.

What an awesome day with our friends at church.
Thanks Jesus for Easter and everything you do for us.

Right Hand Man

I'm on Spring Break this week so of course, I'm helping the old man get
the yard ready.  It's a lot of work, but I'm not afraid to pitch right in - especially
when I know he's got $5 waiting on the other end of it for me!

I raked for 45 min. straight.

Then we came in to hot showers and a nice cuddle.
I love being home with my favorite people :)
