Real Life Superheroes

This weekend is all about real life superheroes at my house.  On Friday night, my biggest hero Daddy, took me out to the baseball diamonds.  I had a great time running the bases.

Dad showed me how to throw the ball like a man.

I thought it was pretty cool that Dad could throw it SO far!  I liked chasing down his super throws.

Not every kid has a Dad who works so hard, yet always finds time to spend with me!

Mom and I are pretty lucky to have THIS superhero around looking out for us!
Thanks SUPER Daddy!

Real Life Superheroes continued

Today was an AWESOME day!  My good friends Vann and Stella (and my super crush "Vann's Mommy) came over bright and early.  We went out to see some more real life superheroes - Firemen!  We got to ride over to the firestation at the very front of a firetruck!

We saw "holy moly" who warned us to make sure our super Daddies always call before they dig.

There were firemen everywhere.  They were all super friendly and took plenty of time to make sure we had a fantastic time.

This lady brought a whole Jeep full of weird animals like snakes, lizards and guinea pigs for us to see.  I met my friends Isaac and Courney (pink and green) from swimming lessons there.

We had to do a lot of listening in the fire safety house.  The Fireman told us all about making sure our homes were safe.  I got a little bored and had to sit down.

Then we all pretended we were in the living room watching t.v.

All of a sudden there was a lot of smoke!!  We knew what to do - "Get Low and Go!"

Mommy's favorite part was when the medical helicopter landed in the field right behind the fire station.  We got to stand pretty close and see it come right in.  It was SUPER cool.

It pays to be super cute!  Vann, Stella and I got to get right IN the helicopter and the EMTs even buckled us in!  I could tell Mom was a little jealous since she's really old and has yet to sit in a helicopter herself.  Sorry 'bout your luck Mom.

We went in a giant fire truck bounce house training obstacle course, and then jumped away in another bounce house.  We were all getting a little tired at that point.  How do these firemen DO it?!

Then, MY favorite part came around.  We got to dress up in real firemen's clothes!

AND we got to work a real fire hose!

Vann had a turn too!

Stella was the cutest little firelady ever!

We were all very good kids and we had a fantastic time together.
Thank you Firemen for putting on such a great day for us!  See you next year!

Some People Just Have "It"

Last night Mom gave me a little wink. To her surprise and amazement, I gave her one right back!
I could tell she was a little jealous since she had to work and work and work until she was well into her teens to be able to wink, but hey - what kind of a ladies man would I be if I wasn't born winking?!

Imagine Mom's shock when I switched over and winked the OTHER eye at her?!
I could tell that really got her, but what can I say?
Some of us just ooze charm and charisma ;)

Fall is Here!

Fall means a few things around here.  It means COLTS season and plenty of Blue and White.  I'm all about dressing in Colt's gear to support my team.  Not so sure about Mom dressing herself the same way, then taking me out in public.  Ugh!

Fall also means plenty of repairs and preparation for winter.  I was pretty busy outside all afternoon on Sunday.

Ft. Vandy is in need of a tune up after my rough and rowdy play all summer.  It could also use a new coat of stain and sealant, Dad!

Mom wants me to note that I was EXCEPTIONALLY good all weekend.  I even took a bath AND washed my hair with no fuss last night.  All because I was super excited to wear this new bathrobe from Aunty Heather.  Okay... Mom wants me to point out my silly curls.  Good Lord.

Even though she's a little embarassing, she's still my number one gal and we sure do have great weekends together!  We plan to enjoy every last Mom and Cole weekend we can get together this fall :)

Three Little Monkeys

Grandma and Bugga came for the weekend to watch Izzy's soccer game and go to the Pumpkin Patch so I got to drive up on Saturday to meet up with them again!
It was a little too chilly for Pumpkin Patching, so we went over to Monkey Joe's instead.  I got to meet Monkey Joe himself!  He was super cool so I gave him ten.
These pictures are a little out of order... We had lunch at Paradise first.

Oli and I are opposites.  He's a quiet guy, and I'm.... well not so quiet.  He's also a BIG eater, and I'm...well I prefer to NOT eat.  He didn't mind finishing my lunch for me one bit!  Thanks for the help Oli!

Izzy and I had a blast playing together.  She was a princess and I was "Prince Cha-ley."  Notice how sweaty I am?!  This mop on my head gets HOT and I was going, going, going!!

Here we are - Three Little Monkeys!
Mom and I even got to go back to their house for a couple more hours of playtime (and LOTS of baby gear/clothes) aftter we were done jumping and climbing our hearts out.
Thanks for all the great stuff Aunty Heather and Uncle Gavin and thanks for sharing another one of your Grandma and Bugga weekends with me Izzy and Oli!

Annual Pumpkin Hunt

Last night, we loaded up the girl's van and drove out to our favorite Pumpkin Hunting grounds for another year of picking.  This year was extra special because Daddy got to come too!

As usual, the girls and I searched high and low for the biggest and best looking prey.
It was great to have all that muscle along to help pick, load and tote our trophy pumkins!
I insisted on loading my own special pumpkin.  I'm "bery stong" you know.  Sydney was nice enough to help steer me a little ;)
We visited our friends the llama and goats.
A great haul, eh?  These are the beasts the girls brought home.
We capped off the evening with a SUPER dinner which I ate enough of (through the extreme efforts of Sydney and KK) to earn this scoop of chocolate ice cream WITH sprinkles.  Thanks girls!
As usual, we had an absolute blast with our super neighbors and great friends.

Devious Plans

Mom and I have been working on plans to expand our living space for some time.  Of course, we have differing motives, BUT the end result is the same so we're teaming up.  I want a basement so I can fill it up with toys and comfy furniture like at Grandma and Papa's houses.  She wants a basement so she can put all toys and JUNK down there out of sight.  This morning, we came up with a sure fire plan.
I was SO fired up about it that I broke into my Spidey moves and did them all over the house.
Who knew bacon, bananas and Superhero vitamins packed SO much power?!
Get ready to dig, Daddy!

PS.  Mom is aware of the true genius behind this plan.  Her role is just to keep feeding ME!
WIN WIN!!
