| This week we decided to get away from the hustle and bustle of our big city life. We drove down to Bloomington and holed up in a neat cabin. Then we quickly went out to explore the trails in McCormick Park. |

| Oh, and for the first time in Vandygriff family vacation history, we brought the pups! |

| Of course, they weren't able to come EVERYWHERE with us. Sometimes, we had to snuggle up with poor substitutes. |
 |
| But Mom found a cabin where they were welcome and boy did we love having them along. Uh... except when Rowan spent the ENTIRE night patrolling the cabin for unseen dangers. |
 |
| And Miss May might have had daily accidents too. Oh well, they had an absolute blast sleeping in bed with us and cuddling up on furniture. A true vacation from their very difficult lives :) |
