Behavioral Rockstar
Mom got this text from another Mom today. My little brother is an absolute angel at school. We are so proud of you, kid!
We had lunch with Sam today and just happened to sit next to Bryce's table. Thought you might be interested in knowing that even though his table mates were misbehaving and making a mess that they left behind, Bryce was well behaved and the last one to leave the table because he was doing an awesome job cleaning up his area.

More Feeding!
Bet you thought the feeding posts were over? Nope. The last group of animals to eat was us. Anthony doesn't like to mess around when it comes to his lunchables. |
Down the hatch! |
Kindergarten kids love to share and touch and lick and pick and oh man..Mom said it's a good thing we're all so stinking cute. Thanks for a great day on the Farm! We survived! |
Kindy Pics
What's fun is asking a group of almost 30 kindergarten kids to pose for a picture. |
Yup, you guessed it. Zombie poses! |
Miss McQueen tried again a little later on and I posed right off the tractor. |
Back around and on and over. |
Shockingly I had to pose right next to Miss McQueen for the remaining photos. |
Something for Everyone
Last stop on the farm tour was the actual crops. Some people were interested in them. |
Emmit and I found this great pile of mud to be much more interesting. |
Photo of the live electric fences that surrounded the property. Miraculously, only one kid got zapped and it wasn't in Mom's group so we win! |
The place was also crawling with scary spiders. Farms are kind of dangerous! |
Last of the Critters
So we dumped the last of our chips onto the ducks. |
He told us all about the hives and the queen bee and such. |
Then we each got to go take a peek at the bees. |
Kind of gross and cool all at once. There's only one queen per hive. |
The guy said "the queen only makes male babies" and mom said "just like me!" |
Thanks for the visit bees. We're about done being still for now. |
Pigs and Parental Panic
But she did great! She took deep breaths and stood back and didn't bolt. |
Even when one of em charged us! (okay that may be an exaggeration) |
They didn't disappoint on the disgusting front. |
and they smelled as bad as they looked. No wonder Mom panicked. |
The Feeding Frenzy Continues
We left the barn and headed over to feed the massive hoarde of chickens. Those birds are kind of like Kindergarten boys. They climb all over each other and seem to always be hungry! |
We each got some food to give to them. Tucker got a mitt full. |
Paxton got an appetizer. |
Emmit had a salad course. |
Miles went for the FULL buffet. |
and so did I! Why mess around? |
We got to pet one of them. Not as exciting as you might think. |
The goats were slightly more amusing. |
But the ducks were hilarious because they let us chase them! |
Taste Test
Next we got to go with "Ben" to taste some of the vegetables they grow on the farm. |
They passed around herbs. Nah... not that great. |
Then tomatoes. Whoa! I LIKE these! |
Can I have more please?! |
Even though I always throw a fit when Mom forgets and puts them in my salad, I couldn't get enough "farmer tomatoes." |
I went up and asked for the leftovers. |
Back off buddies. These are mine! |
Next up some of the guys decided they wanted to try hot peppers. Who gives hot peppers to Kindergarten kids?! |
What a horrible idea! |
The only idea that could be worse would be to do it after you've already seen your friend's bad reactions. |
"It's burning!" |
I made a beeline for the water cooler and attempted to extinguish the flames of death that had formed in my esophagus. |
A "What Were They Thinking?!" Field Trip
Mom especially loved Paxton because he reminded her of another kid she loves - Zeke! |
We are best buds. Hard to get 5 and 6 year old boys to pose as anything other than zombies. |
We did pose as farmers with grass that Mom told us had probably been peed on. |
We couldn't care less. Farmers don't mind a little pee, Ma! |
Soon it was time to listen to instructions from the leader of the farm. We thought Mom could cover us on that and focused instead on killing this piece of wood. |
