Old Lady Paradise (ours too)

Today we went to a place called The Shell Factory. It had EVERYTHING. Including the big man!

One of us is getting a little big for Santa's lap.

Not too big to fit in this shark's mouth though!

I'm really into treasure hunting. Imagine if I found this in my whole in the backyard!

Coley thought this collection of shark teeth was amazing.

Outside had even more crazy things.

We wanted to do absolutely everything. First stop was the bumper boats, which were a complete disaster. We decided to do some mining after that.

We found so many gems in our bags.

Mom thought this one was especially cool because it looks like it has writing on it.

Their trees had faces. Incredibly punchable faces.

We headed over to the wildlife preserve to feed the animals. The lady in the ticket/food store made us solemnly swear to listen to our parents and follow the rules. Mom really really liked her.

Mom said Dad was looking especially handsome. Geez Ma. Look at the OTHER beasts!

This guy was the greeter. I think he is also the animal who gets all the leftover food. Congrats on the prime location buddy!

There were massive porcupines. Like me, you would NOT want to mess with this guy.

The birds spoke - especially to me! They were so entertaining!

It was really really hot out. Even this guy was working to keep cool. Mom said the racoon cage stressed her out. It was a big mess!

There were some birds there who had sad stories. Two of them were so stressed out they pulled all of their feathers out.

Here's their story.

We felt bad for them and tried to feed them a lot.

This guy is so famous he has his own song!

This part had amazon rainforest water misting down. Mom made us stand in here forever! It did cool us off but we were over it!

This guy really liked me. He followed me up and down and wherever I went. Of course I made sure to stop and talk to him. I talked to every animal. I don't like talking to new people, but new animals are fantastic.

Mom and her favorite animal.

Mom really really wanted to see the sloth. He wasn't up for making a showing though. He just stayed in his little hammock.

We tried to make her feel better by posing for more dumb photo ops. I was okay with this one until I saw a big spider in this egg!

The heat was borderline unbearable.

Mom's attempt at a Vandy man picture didn't go well.

I had a good chat with these goats. Goats are very talkative.

This guy had absolutely nothing to say.

We thought this was also a gator so I got right down and starting chit chatting with him. Daddy even threw him a big piece of gator food.

Then mom noticed a big chunk of ceramic missing from his butt. Oops.  Not a live one afterall!

This guy was alive though! Not a big talker, but he was a good listener.

I made sure everyone got a few words of wisdom.

This guy was also a good listener. I tried to talk him into coming home with me. He was on board until Mom showed up and told him about Rowan. Thanks Ma.

There were so many animals we could interact with. It was better than any zoo we've been to.

This guy wasn't friendly. I followed him around trying to spark up a conversation, but he just screamed at me! Rude.

We spent a couple of amazing hours with all of these cool animals. It was definitely a highlight! Mom wanted to be sure to get a picture with this banana tree before we left.
