| B and I have been running with Mom for about a month now. I've been working especially hard and today it all paid off. We ran our first road race together! The Ducky Derby. I was a little cheesed at Mom for making us run very slowly for the first 2 miles (she was worried I might not make it the full 3.2 because 2.5 was the furthest I ran in training), but we beat our goal time of 30 minutes! I think I made Mom's millennium when I told her I wanted to keep running with her. Anything for the old lady... |
