Track & Field Day

The BEST school day of the year was today. Track and Field day is our favorite! Mom and I wouldn't miss cheering for our favorite kids for the world.

This year, the second graders built their own camp. Katherine brought drinks and treats!

Mom kept asking when they got to be too cool to need their parents.

I think they may have been pretending to be Indians?

I hope one day I'm part of a class where everyone is best buds.

Some 3rd graders came for a visit. Sorry gals, "Second Graders Only!"

Meanwhile, I waited and waited and waited for a turn on the spinny thing. Mom wanted a picture so Maddox spun me. That was definitely enough for me.

I did get to hang out with Coley a little bit. He's not too cool for his little bro.

Then came the races! There are only 2 girls in the second grade, so Miss K. decided to jump in.

There are a LOT of boys in Coley's class!

This year was Daniel's year! He dominated the running events.

It's really fun to watch a race where you hope everyone wins :)

Of course, we stayed around to cheer on our favorite 3rd grader. Micah won!

Josiah and I are just waiting patiently for the day we finally take the field and show them how it's done.

Relays were last. Go Coley Go!
