The After Party

Then we were down to the last 6 party animals.  Mom finally got the boys dried off and settled in by letting them open gifts.

Unfortunately, another side effect of being surrounded by folks who know and love you so well is that they all gave Coley weapons!  Back outside for a battle!  Introducing tonight's warriors:  "Coley, Levi, Jeremiah, Aaron and Zeke!"

Postcard material!

The grown ups settled in around the fire for a little relaxation after a long hard day.

THINK AGAIN lame-oh grown ups!

While the big boys terrorized each other and Brownie's hill..

I waged one man warfare on the grown ups.

You would think arguments over weapons or whining over point blank range shots would follow, but these boys are rough and rowdy and didn't bat an eye. 

It's pretty great to grow up with your best buddies around for everything.

Coley and Levi are like brothers.

We sure are grateful to have these kids around.

and the rest of these great boys too!

Dead or alive, they all had a blast.

and they all looked out for me too!  I snuck up and shot em, they picked up my bullet and reloaded my gun.  I must be the luckiest little brother in the world. 

We didn't go in until the sun went down and even then, these boys were NOT happy about having to settle.
