Merry Christmas!

You know how Christmas Day works!  We stay in our pjs and just enjoy our gifts and each other ALL day.  One of B's favorite gifts was this recorded Superhero book, read by yours truly.

We also loved our new archery sets!  B got this practice one, and I got a real one which I can use when it warms up!

Here's what most of the day looked like :)

We did work very hard on one of my favorite gifts - the LEGO Chima castle!

Mom said it had to go straight to the museum.  No wrecking THIS masterpiece!
Merry Christmas everyone!  Love to all!  Cole and Bryce

Milk and Cookies

After church, we got into our new pjs and loaded up Santa's plate.  I was being very careful just like Mom said until...

I noticed the large sword shaped object on the plate!  Hi-YAH!

Oh whoa.... There's still time to be put on the naughty list?!  Here I am shaping up and posing nicely lest the man in the red suit happen to catch me!

Selfies

The Momparazzi convinced Daddy to snap some "selfies" with her before church.

He was a little skeptical about both the idea and her ability to deliver a quality product.

But, like the good sport that he is, he just smiled and hugged her tight.  Santa better bring him a LOT of presents this year.

Best Night in the Whole Kid Year!

Christmas Eve!  Mom got us all dressed up and made us take pictures.

I played along for the most part, but you know I can't be serious for very long!

B, of course, did NOT play along.

Even so, he's still so cute, she made it work.

Then we slipped outside to leave food for the reindeer.  Thanks Whitney!

This year we went with the "dump it all in one big pile" technique as opposed to spreading it nicely over the lawn.

Old Man Vandy's trees are looking very nice!
We snuck in one last viewing of "What Does the Fox Say?" and were off to church to celebrate Baby Jesus.

Christmas #3 With Our Girls

Is it okay to still call them our girls?!  They look like lovely ladies now!  I have to admit, Coley and I lose our minds a little bit when this much cuteness is in our midst.

I did find a little time to ensure Kent was still up for the job of chief protecting officer for our girls.

Happy to report Swann Security services are still as strong as ever.

How do they know just what we REALLY want?!  Cole got a ton of new telepods!

Mom wouldn't let us pick out underwear for them.  We had to settle for the next best thing.

After all these years, they still find us amusing.

Nothing makes us happier than being with our family and these friends ARE family!

We sure do love them all.

Mom is slowly accepting the fact that they will likely soon get real boyfriends and she will have to abandon all hope of them marrying MUCH younger men.

but for now, they're still ALL ours!

Sorry KK.  The Momparazzi was a little out of control.

Oh.  Dad was there too.

The Traditional Holiday Photo was a little challenging this year.

As I said, we lose our minds around these girls!

They were very patient.  They always are.

I think this was right around the time Daddy reminded Mommy that he has always wanted a girl.

Then Mom reminded him that that part of the deal was up to HIS genetics.  They wouldn't explain any further.

You can probably feel Mom's anxiety just looking at these pictures!

I think this is where she threatened to cancel Christmas

Nothing we cannot handle!  Coley used his super cuteness powers to win her back over just long enough for me to deliver a solid jab to her eye, which did indeed swell up and cause an enormous headache just after it put a solid end to our pleasant evening.  Oh well, Merry Christmas anyway!

Brycey Falls in Love

"Hi.  I'm Brycey."  "Hi.  My name is Chloe"

"Wanna be my friend?"  "Sure!  I like your LEGOs"

"Oh Brycey.  You're funny!  Hee Hee Hee"

"Hey.  I like your style, Chloe.  I AM funny!  I'm strong too, and smart.  I'm really smart."

"Oh Bryce.  Tee Hee.  You're cute too!  Maybe when you turn 3, we can get serious."

"I AM three.  Hey, c'mere.  Hold my hand Chloe."  "Okay Brycey.  Tee Hee!"

"Hey, c'mere.  Just a liiiiiitle biiiit closer."  "Brycey!  Oh My!"

"Ah!!!!  I'm outta here!  You move too fast for me Brycey!"

"Hmmm...  Maybe I'll give her a little space.  Like a whole 3 feet."

(random extra shot)

"wait til she sees my sprinkle skills.  Girls love a man who can work with his hands."

"Hey?  What's going on here?!  Cole!  Get away from girl!"

"I'll show you!  Chloe, I shall defend your honor!  Take that Cole!"

"That's what you get for making a move on my Chloe!"
And they lived happily ever after.... or until they turned 4 and fell in love with their parents again.
