Uncle Theo!

Uncle Theo came to see us this weekend!  B had never met him, but they were instant best buds.

Okay, we did a teeny bit of cuddling.

but mostly, we wrestled from sun UP to sun DOWN!

Uncle Theo is great at wrestling, but I'm great too!

You may think a big guy like him would go easy on me... NOPE!

We did NOT spare each other one bit.

We played Battleship, Tic Tac Toe and cards.  We watched manly movies and played manly LEGOs.  We had an AWESOME time with our AWESOME uncle.  So happy to see him again after a long time.

Goin Buggy

Cole had a show last night and look who came!  I was so happy to see Grandma Pam.  I attached myself to her immediately and could not stop hugging her.

I think she was happy to see me too :)

The show was about being nice to bugs.  Cole was a firefly!

Um... not the most engaged firefly.  The boys seemed a little bored.

Micah and Levi were Bees.

Look who else came!  Uncle Kyle and Aunty Laura!

I was in heaven :)

There's Sydney too!

The show was fantastic.  Here's Zeke, Cole and Jeremiah taking a well earned bow.

Cutest little firefly we've ever seen.

Here's the whole crew!

You'll never guess who the two best friends are.  That's Seth doing a running man and Cole doing a robot pose :)

Jeremiah and Cole got to stand by each other!  I kept yelling "HI COLEY, HI!"

Totally cool to see Cole and his best buds on stage.

Seriously... the time on stage AFTER the show was a highlight for Cole.

Look how many people came out to see my big bro!  Grandma Pam, Aunty Laura, Sydney, KK, Julie, Uncle Kyle, Me, Daddy and of course Mom is behind the camera :)

We had an afterparty at our house with Uncle Kyle and Aunty Laura.  I was in heaven :)

Seth and Cole did more posing for the Moms back in our classroom.  They kept yelling BEST BUDDIES every time.

They were just begging to be photo bombed!

Okay, I'm a best buddy too!  Mom was so proud when she heard another Mom tell her boys "See, that's how you two are supposed to be!"

Thank you so much for coming to watch my awesome big brother everyone!
Good Job Cole!

Earth Day in Vandyville

Yesterday, we added some trees to the Vandyville landscape in honor of Earth Day and our oh so boring landscape!  Dad planted two Honeycrisp apple trees for us and 5 other trees across the back.

We helped of course!  B did a lot of watering and I helped shovel and pat down the dirt.  Of COURSE B pretended the hose was a gun.  He's a boy isn't he?!

This shot was taken shortly before he soaked me to the bone.

Which prompted me to soak him right back.

Wardrobe changes followed.  We were right back at it though!

We can't wait for the new trees to start growing!  We were very proud to show them to our lovely Aunt Laura who came to see us after dinner.  The Momparazzi didn't get any shots, but we asked her to PLEASE come back this week so we'll be sure to capture some moments then :)

Coley! Where Are You??

Cole had a sleepover Saturday night.  At first I was thrilled to have Mom and Dad all to myself, but when I woke up Sunday morning and he wasn't here, I was very sad.  I went all over the house calling for him and I kept telling Mom to "go get Coley."  Finally, I cuddled up in my new little box/bed and just sat and waited for him.

I sure do love my big brother.  We drive each other nuts but we're best buds too.

You Know You're in Vandyville When..

you see these on every window, wall, table, television and computer screen :)

FINALLY

We finally got to spend a day in the sun!  It started off pretty nippy, but Dad got the lawnmower going early on.  We have a LOT of lawn to mow now.

So of course, I helped out!  I love riding the tractor with my Dad!

Mom and I stayed in until the sun came up.  Not Cole though, he put his winter coat on and was outside by 10am.

A little harder to fit my big bro on the tractor with Dad :)

slowly but surely it warmed up and we shed layers.

Boots loves spending his days outside and in the sun porch!

I love nothing better than the sand.

After visiting Bernie and meeting more new neighbors, Mom brought me in to change and put a hat on.  Then we played football and frisbee and walked around the 'hood.  We didn't come in until after 7!  What an awesome day.  Please stay put SPRING!

Working On It

As you know, I've been very sick!  I really am trying to get outside though.  I want to play in the warm weather SO badly, but each time I go out, I quickly run out of steam and get frustrated.
"Mom, I hold you!?"  I have been glued to my Mama since she got home from UT.

Sometimes I get lucky and make her run WITH me, but now that I am almost 35 lbs. that doesn't happen often.  Mom says that new deep wrinkle in between her eyes is from this past weekend alone.

We are very busy digging out summer toys.

And I'm really getting interested in "bad guys."  Cole is always happy to tell me the names and functions of each little man.  Thanks big bro!

Cole and Mom got busy digging up other things.  I could NOT be convinced to touch this "snake" but Cole had a great time holding him.  Note that Boots is our shadow anytime we're outdoors - EVEN when our new St. Bernard puppy neighbor is over!
