Super Saturday!

It all started with a surprise sleepover Friday night.

We're not sure who's guest this pretty kitty was, but I'm guessing Boots was behind it.

A few hours later, the party got a LOT cooler.  Grandma and Bugga came to wish me a happy birthday!

As usual, we went crazy over them.  It's impossible to be unhappy when Grandma and Bugga are around.  I think they feel the same about being around us!

Oh, I may or may not have convinced B that the man sitting at the table next to ours was Santa Claus.  Here I am enjoying the scene as he yelled "Hi Santa!" over and over again.

Then we were off to the Indiana State Museum to see the Star Wars exhibit.

When Grandma is around, Mom gets to take pictures with us.  Thanks Grandma!

We were waiting for everyone to use the potty when this guy just came walking out!

Mom made Dad take a picture with him too.

And Bugga and Bryce too.

B was scared and wouldn't leave Grandma and Mommy.

Me, I took pictures with EVERYONE.  Even the big man in black.

C3PO and R2D2 were there.

Not sure which costume this was... Mom is a little behind on her Star Wars education.

More unknown characters.

I got to make robots and test them out.

B's favorite guy.

Of course the big hairy man was there!

More robot making with Dad

And Obi Wan called me his Padawan and let me use his real light saber!

Mom's favorite was this kid inside two rubbermaid tubs walking around.

We saw Princess Leia too!  We buzzed through the Lincoln exhibit and the Native American exhibit too.  We all enjoyed the History of Indiana and then headed home.  B passed out en route so I got to have Grandma and Bugga all to myself!

Grandma brought cupcakes!

For ME!!

We all enjoyed a little dinner and some cupcakes.

Then it was time to open gifts.

I got the coolest Pirates of the Caribbean castle ever!  Over a thousand new pieces of LEGOs all for me!

It was finished in no time at all.  I did most of it myself too. Thanks for an awesome Saturday Bugga and Grandma!  We were saying prayers that night and Mom asked B what his favorite part of the museum was.  He said "Grandma."  We sure do love you both!

Reunited!

Remember my old friend Will King?  Well I sure do!  I haven't seen him in over a year but I never stopped asking my Mom about him.  We finally tracked him down and I got to go swim with him today!

Here we are last Spring.  Not much has changed and we're still the best of friends :)

Dads Are Just Old Boys

We've been planning a super special Father's Day for weeks now!  We picked out just the right cards and just the right gifts.

We made them special so he knew they were from the heart.

Then we made him breakfast in "bed" and cuddled up with him to eat it.

Followed shortly by presents!  We got him his favorite cologne, He Man Beer glasses, shorts, a t-shirt, a book on CD, cookies, headphones and the best gifts of all were his handmade box and LEGO spaceships and the handmade plate we gave him.

Of course we know what he likes!  As I told Mom, "I know Dads are just old boys."

We sure do love you Old Boy :)

After our morning smother, we got dressed up and went out to get a basketball hoop and a painting.

Daddy... So glad you're our Father!  Heeee Whooooo Heeee Whoooo

New Friends

I made a new friend at daycare this summer and we are INSEPARABLE.  You met Will in a recent post.  He's the COOLEST and his house is really cool too!  I know because we got to hang out there this weekend!

You won't find two happier buddies.  We swam, played baseball, chased Piper, played with his little bro and my big bro and just had an awesome day.

There was another super cool family there too!  That's Sullivan and his Daddy.  The Dads got pretty tired throwing us around in the pool all afternoon.

As usual, the Vandys couldn't get enough Baby Henry time in :)

Everybody got along great!

And Piper wore himself right out.  We thought he might rebound after sneaking an entire pizza off the table and scarfing it down, but that just made him borderline comatose.

Okay Mom, we know you were there too.

The night ended with hoops in the driveway, sidewalk chalk and bike riding.

Will is getting really good!

So is Cole!  I think we need one of these things in Vandyville.

Thanks for having us over Meek family!  See you again soon!

Got Love?

Coley and I played together ALL weekend.  He dressed up with me, wrestled me, held my hand on walks, helped me in the potty at church, got me up out of bed in the morning AND let me sleep with him last night!  We are becoming inseparable!

Yup, he got me in and out of every costume I wanted to wear.

and he just laughed it off when I tackled him :)

Yup, you guessed it.  He helped me work my favorite games on the iPad.  He looked out for me when we went to help set up Vacation Bible School at church and we hug tackled each other all over the neighborhood when we went on a walk.  I LOVE my big brother.

Last night after a nice fire and a bath, I insisted I was terrified to sleep without Coley.  Mom and Dad finally gave in and let me cuddle up with my amazing big bro in his bed.  You would have to look pretty hard to find a happier little brother than I am.  Coley, you ROCK!

1st Graders!

Today was a BIG day!  I woke Mom up at 5am to tell her I'd finally lost my first tooth!

Then it was off to the very last day of Kindergarten!  We had a nice picnic and said goodbye to all of our teachers.  It's not so sad when you know you'll see most of them at church on the weekends.  A big surprise came when Mom told me we got to have my best buddy spend the night!

Four years later...  What a great bud.

We are the two zaniest kids around.

Seth came to my baseball game to cheer me on.  He was my good luck charm because I got my second home run of the season!

We do love his fashion sense around here :)
Speaking of fashion sense.. B has taken his mascot status to a whole new level!  Look what he wore to my last baseball game!

Triple Threat

This weekend, I got to have my two best buds and their families over!  That's Will on the far left.  He's new in town and we were all so happy to discover his parents are as cool as he is!  PLUS, he comes with a baby brother whom all the Mommies get to snuggle!

Of course, you know Jonah.  That's him in the middle.  We three are Sweet, Stubborn and BOSSY.  Triple Threat!  Gaines and Sissy came too and the big kids all played together while we three "little guys" did our thing.

We had the BEST time together and everyone cried when it was time to go.

Here's Jonah and his awesome parents.  Thanks for coming Chaille's, Meeks and Scotts!  What a fun Sunday.
