Well it was time for my annual visit to Dr. Vanderpool (he took over for Dr. Gupta). Mom and he decided I needed to have my blood checked.

I didn't realize they meant ALL of my blood! I hardly flinched when they stuck me, but I was a little peeved when the lady told me I didn't get my blood back. I made Mom google "how the body makes new blood" so I knew for sure that I wasn't getting hosed.




UPDATE:  Test results showed us that my zinc levels are very low again. This explains the weird infection I had, but is also concerning because my zinc was very low when I was first diagnosed too. We're hoping that supplements will get me back on track.
