Best Buds

and here we are just getting ready for bed by raiding the Lucky Charms.

First Graders!

I got to start my End of School photos! It can really only go up from here.

Battle Scenes

When we were done in the pool, we hit the backyard for an epic water balloon battle. Littles against bigs!

No mercy for either side.

We were a force to be reckoned with.

But Cole was relentless!

Mom got some great action shots.

There is no holding back in war.

We were fearless.

We could've played for hours.

Mom just kept telling us to RUN!

The field got pretty bloody. Okay wet.

Enemies kept invading our camp!

I had no choice but to bring out the heavy artillery.

But I couldn't resist using it just a little bit on my own men.

It was all in good fun.

We're pretty sure we won :)

But these two best big brothers would never tell us otherwise anyway.

End Of School Sleepover 2

Guess what day it is! It's MY End of School Sleepover day! That's Tuck Tuck in the background and Jax.
Of course we spent most of our time in Brownie's pool.

Cole's flips have gotten really good.

My sis Chloe was there.

There's no better way to celebrate freedom!

We stayed outside in the sun for hours and hours. We invented a game that made us do nasty stuff. Here's Tuck Tuck eating a lemon.

Ewww

Who's next boys?

I got a nasty jelly bean.

There's Co Co! Of course he was there.

Coley isn't known for having a strong stomach.

He lost it on this nasty jelly bean.

"Oh man guys..."

Me? I can put any of em down.

Jax is more in Coley's camp!

My buds and I love each other.

Oh and a nipple twist. Why not?

Row Row adores Tuck.

and we all adore Row Row.

But no matter how much he loves ya, he will never give up his bone!

New Neighbor

Look who moved in next door! Our new neighbors adopted a little angel!
B wanted to take him home. I think baby Noah would've gone with him too.

You've never seen a kid love babies like my little brother loves babies.

We have big plans for getting this guy in plenty of trouble! We'll teach him just how to be a rowdy stinky boy.
Welcome to Parkview Drive Noah!

We Remember

Well it's Memorial Day so Mom loaded us all up and took us over to the war memorial that our veterans have been working so hard on.
Papa's brick isn't there yet, but we made sure to stop at the Army stone and gave him a salute to thank him.
Then we went around and read every last thing there was to read about the soldiers who died for us. Mom was bawling by the end of it, so we suggested a trip to the playground to lighten the mood.

If there's a way to approach a playground that isn't running full force into it, we are unaware. Unfortunately, we have had non stop rain and the mulch was secretly holding a cesspool of nastiness. Whatever lives in there likes to eat flip flops. Ours were G O N E.

We spent a lot of time digging in the mess to find our shoes.

No joke. It was absolutely disgusting. Coley managed to rescue both of his flip flops but one of mine was just lost to the mulch monster. Talk about a memorable trip to the war memorial!

Annual Fun Guarantee

Every year, we celebrate the start of summer with our friends the Espinosas and the Mastersons. Usually there are a few extras, but our three families have been gathering now for about 11 years. It's always fun! Even Milo came out for a bit to talk to B.

'It wasn't exactly warm, but we didn't exactly care. There were water balloons!

Of course Olivia and Hannah stayed on the deck and didn't get a drop of water on them, but managed to launch an impressive aerial assault on we boys who were covered in mud and coloring and water.

Next up was a Home Run Derby. We're pretty sure the Dads enjoyed it more than the kids!

The Dads did NOT bat well. They tried to blame their pitchers, but we know they're just old.

The Vandy boys did end up with a tie for the win. 4 runs for Cole and 4 runs for Dad.

Cole could've played all day.

I took a turn but didn't do very well. It was just too much pressure!

I had more fun looking out for this little dude. I sure do love littles and launched a whole new campaign for Mom to have a baby as soon as we got in the car.
