B and Dad got a little lost on the mile run and ended up running 2 miles. No sweat! The Family that runs together stays together. |

LEGO Life
This week, Mom's been getting us up at the crack of dawn to go to Basketball Camp at LuHigh. Then, I come home and get to work on my project. It's coming along nicely. |
I'm proud to say I've had NO help with this 2,000+ piece work of art. |
And when B is home, we can both be found working on our other project. |
We call this our base and it's grown all month long! We now have a pet shark. |
and it's full of detail too. We are lovin our LEGO life. |

Champions
It's playoff time! That week when all Jr. Baseball fans put their game face and game gear on. As the Marlin's #1 Superfan, B had to show up in style. yes that is a marlin on his bow tie! |
As part of the playoff package, I decided to forego VBS and showed up early to every game to warm up. |
We faced our nemesis - The Cubs, in Game 1 |
No matter. We showed up swinging and creamed em! |
Here's coach telling us we're in the Championship! |
The Cubs battled hard and came back for a re match in the championship! We were a little nervous because their coaches played just a little past the legal line. |
Brock's Mom supplied our superfan with a throne befitting his position on the team. |
When you're in the Championship game, you don't have time to complain when the ball hits you so hard it leaves stitch prints. You put your game face on and play! |
I played well once again. Bats swinging, big stops and fast runs. |
No surprise... We creamed em again! |
Our coaches decided to play fair even though the other guys were just downright dirty. We were so proud to play on this team. |
Coach Capps was sick as a dog, but still showed up with HIS game face on. How could we let him down?? |
They were all so proud of us. Who are we? |
T H E M A R L I N S! |
#1 Baby |
Later that night, we had a cool celebration. |
They don't mess around when it comes to awards for the New Pal Youth League! |
Who knew we got TWO big trophies?! We were #2 in the regular season too! |
We may have done a little nuts when they announced we were the champs. Check out my mad vertical skillz. |
Mom told me I was getting the usual token 4" trophy. Boy was she wrong! |
I'm going to miss this group. |

Invention Camp
It's been an amazing summer, and we're only three weeks in! This week I got to go to Invention Camp. If you've ever had a conversation with me, you know Invention Camp is my idea of heaven. |
I got to geek out with my fellow brainiacs about prototypes and take things apart for 6 hrs/day all week long. Here's the car we built that crushed all the others on Day 5. |
My prototype invention. |
I call it the "Cooshan." It's made in the U.S.A. Sorry Shark Tank, no foreign assembly. |
B had a great time testing out our Invention toys at the Inventors showcase. |
and of course, a few teachers came over to tell Mom how smart I was and how much they adored me. What can I say? |
and here's the maze I made out of our old portable DVD player. I hope Mom and Dad don't place much value on anything that can be disassembled in Vandyville, because NOTHING is safe now! |

Swim Lessons
This summer, we decided I absolutely had to learn to swim. This meant we had to bring in the big guns because Miss Blake was no longer giving lessons. No worries, we called Clay! |
I'll be honest, after the first lesson, we were NOT friends. He didn't just want to play!? After lesson 2 though, we were best buds, I loved him and I was swimming without floaties! |
Now I can't get in fast enough and it's all thanks to my new bestest friend in the whole wide world - Clay :) |
