Fire Safety

Mom and Dad went down to Columbus for the 2nd Annual running of the Mill Race Marathon this morning so we got to hang out with Grandma!  She took us over to the Fire Station Open house.

As you know, B is rarely without a costume these days. Today was a Space Ranger kind of Saturday.

We loved the Obstacle Course.

And the helicopter. Buzz was the pilot of course.

The Firemen are always awesome. They let us play with the firehose!

Hey Dad! We need one like this at our house!

"You don't hide from Firemen Mommy. Firemen are your friends!" We heard that for the rest of the week.

This year they had rescue dogs too!

and the vintage fire truck.

When you're Buzz Lightyear, you get VIP seating everywhere you go.

Grandma took us around to all the tables where we scored a LOT of free junk.

You have to be pretty strong to be a Firemen. These hoses are heavy!

Not sure what this Fox's name is, but he was cool nonetheless. We made sure Mom and Dad had an escape plan (lookout Brownie), went over the "Get Low and Go" and "feel the door" policies and I practiced dialing 9-1-1 a few times. Thanks Firemen! We are all set!
