"Uh"

As you know, it can be pretty boring to be a Mom.  I try to help the poor old gal out by leaving little nuggets of shock and amusement for her to find when she looks through my schoolwork each night.
You're welcome Mom!

Lunch Lady!

What a treat!  Mom and Dad decided to come and serve lunch for President's Day since we got stuck making up one of our zillion snow days.  Mom may or may not have had a little help from the ladies at school convincing Daddy that he had to wear a silly "chick" apron, giant rubber gloves and a shower cap.  Ha ha ha!!!  What a sucker, err..  trooper you are pop!
And B was also thrilled to see them.  He got right into Lunch Lady mode and helped entertain the students as they came up for extra scoops of lukewarm soggy tots.  Mmmmmm......

Mother Russia

We are obviously too young to go to Sochi for this year's Winter Olympics, so God has been kind enough to send Siberia to us.  Mom has lost all hope of ever running outside again and Dad says he's OVER shoveling, but we love the snow!  Last night my big brother and I went out without our lame-oh depressed parents and played by ourselves.  Coley even made me a snowman all by himself!

Maybe it's our Ukrainian blood, but we did not agree that we looked sad and pitiful trying to play on our swingset in the blistering cold and snow.  We thought we looked awesome!

Coley helped me on.  I slid right off.

And he pushed me too.  Moya brat byt fina hlopetc i ya lybly yoho. (That's Ukrainian for my brother is a fine boy and I love him.)

Baller

You probably know I'm a basketball player...  Mom took some more pictures to show you I'm still out there playing!  This year, I am by far the youngest player on my team.  Some kids are more than 2 years older than me!  I still love playing though.

Our team is the Huskies and we were doing very poorly.  We blame Snowmageddon for canceling all of our practices and a lot of our games.  We have two great coaches and a lot of talent so it was only a matter of time before the scores started showing that!

I did hear Mom and Dad wondering if I should continue to play.  Okay so I spent more time and energy on dancing than I did basketball skills.  That all changed this weekend when I played my HEART out!  We all did and we only lost by 2 points!  Oh, I scored!

Thanks Upward Basketball for an awesome program which is really fun and also teaches us how to be good sports.

Testosterone is AWESOME

There's just nothing like guy's night!  Even better is when guy's night is at Lucas Oil watching HUGE trucks smash each other.  Quentin and Uncle Vinnie are raging testosterone fueled MEN like Daddy and I so we all loved it!

Okay so went to this event in January.  Mom lent us her travel camera and it may or may not have gone missing afterwards.  WE ARE MEN.  we lose things... sorry Ma.

Mom didn't even know how cool it was until she finally found the crusty chip filled backpack we took along.  Oh, THAT's where we left the camera!

My birthday is in July.  I'm already working on getting one of these.  Look out neighbors!

My four wheeler does NOT do this.  Believe me, Seth and I have tried!

What a great time we had.  Thanks for the idea and the ride Uncle Vinnie and Quentin!

Not so "Little B"

Mom finally got me in for my 3 yr. check-up after two cancellations due to snowmageddon.  I was SO excited to go to the Dr. and especially loved that the morning was all about me!  After getting weighed and measured and all the fuss over how BIG I am for my age, I stripped down to really show them what I'm made of.  Here I am beating myself up for Mom while we wait for the Dr.

We decided the floor was actually crocodile infested waters so I busied myself defeating them and doing ninja moves while Mommy and the Dr. talked about how great I am.  The best part?  NO SHOTS!  I think they realized they would be taking their lives into their own hands if they tried anything on me after watching what I did to the crocodiles.
Okay so I'm 39.5" tall (85th %ile) and 35.9 lbs.  (83rd %ile) with a 16.22 BMI (58th %ile). I'm pretty sure those are He-Man's same measurements.

Handy Man

We Vandys are "Do it Yourselfers."  I of course, jumped right in to help Daddy when he brought home a gallon of paint.

He thought he would only get one little spongeful out of me, but I aim to exceed expectations and kept getting more and more paint.

There's nothing better than a custom paint job.

I call this safari in siberia.

Sucker

Coley thinks he had all the fun this weekend but that is NOT true!  While he was off partying with his buddies, I snuck in a date night with "Jewey" Sydney and KK!

Okay Kent was there too, but he and Daddy were in their own little world as usual.  I did miss my brother when it was time to go to sleep, but it sure was fun having Mom, Dad and especially my Overton girls ALL to myself for a change.

Lucky Kid

Every once in awhile, a guy gets reminded that he really does have a sweet sweet life.  This weekend reminded me that I'm the luckiest kid alive!  I got to first spend the night at my old buddy Hayden's house on Friday.  Hayden has the world's greatest big brother, Austin who played with us all night.  As soon as I got home on Saturday, Mom made me take a nap because when I woke up, Levi was there to take me to a Pacer's game!  Here we are giving those cheerleaders something to smile about.
We had an AWESOME time cheering for the Pacers (who did beat the Nets), then I got to spend the night away from home AGAIN!  Poor Little B was left to sleep without me yet again  and poor Mom and Dad had to pay the price, but I sure did have a great time and I made up for it by being super cuddly with Mom in church due to my state of extreme exhaustion.
Would you believe my epic weekend didn't end there?  After a heavenly three hour nap, I got up, took a bath and went to another friend's house for a Superbowl party!  I'm pretty sure I'm the luckiest kid alive.  Thanks friends!  You are the BEST!
