A Mucking Good Time!

Well Mom and Dad concocted another crazy adventure for us this weekend.  This time they brought Annette along too!  We drove out to the middle of nowhere for the Mudathalon!  B was a great sport and mascot (as usual).

Here's Team Vandy BEFORE the event.

I had an outstanding time running the kid's course and got plenty dirty :)

Mom and Dad came back FILTHY but were all smiles.  What an awesome adventure and we can't wait to do it again!

We Love "Brownie!"

We've learned that our neighbors are the NICEST people!  Mrs. Brown even invited us over to use her awesome pool this week!

And her super cool son came out to play with us too.

B kept calling her "Bernie" which is actually her dog's name so Mom was mortified and kept correcting him "No, No... It's Mrs. Brown"  He finally settled on calling her "Brownie" and we think she kinda liked it :)

Thanks for a fantastic afternoon Brownie! :)

Plan B

We were all set to host a serious church meeting Sunday evening when the plans fell through.  We decided to turn the evening into a party instead!  Jonah and Sissy brought their parents over!

Jonah and I are best buddies and our Mommies find that both sweet AND scary.  We're TROUBLE.

this much mischief wrapped up in two super cute bundles is dangerous.

We spent the evening outside in the bounce house and in the mud.  Coley helped us look for wormy squirmies when he got home from Jacob's birthday party.

As usual, there were lots of bumps and scrapes.  Some were more serious than others.

Boots let us take turns carrying him around until he had enough and bit me.

We soaked everything we could with the hose.

Then we headed up front to ride bikes.

V is a perfect little princess who isn't afraid to get right in there and play with we stinky rowdies.

We're all completely smitten.

Jonah's pretty stinking cool too.

Coley may have showed off just a little bit for Jonah's sissy, but he kept it in check.  Papa Chaille isn't known for wanting ANY boys around his princess!

Of course, at the end of the day, we always end up with our Mommies. Ours are so grateful to be friends because man... they're going to need to unite forces when we're older!

Super Saturday!

It all started with a surprise sleepover Friday night.

We're not sure who's guest this pretty kitty was, but I'm guessing Boots was behind it.

A few hours later, the party got a LOT cooler.  Grandma and Bugga came to wish me a happy birthday!

As usual, we went crazy over them.  It's impossible to be unhappy when Grandma and Bugga are around.  I think they feel the same about being around us!

Oh, I may or may not have convinced B that the man sitting at the table next to ours was Santa Claus.  Here I am enjoying the scene as he yelled "Hi Santa!" over and over again.

Then we were off to the Indiana State Museum to see the Star Wars exhibit.

When Grandma is around, Mom gets to take pictures with us.  Thanks Grandma!

We were waiting for everyone to use the potty when this guy just came walking out!

Mom made Dad take a picture with him too.

And Bugga and Bryce too.

B was scared and wouldn't leave Grandma and Mommy.

Me, I took pictures with EVERYONE.  Even the big man in black.

C3PO and R2D2 were there.

Not sure which costume this was... Mom is a little behind on her Star Wars education.

More unknown characters.

I got to make robots and test them out.

B's favorite guy.

Of course the big hairy man was there!

More robot making with Dad

And Obi Wan called me his Padawan and let me use his real light saber!

Mom's favorite was this kid inside two rubbermaid tubs walking around.

We saw Princess Leia too!  We buzzed through the Lincoln exhibit and the Native American exhibit too.  We all enjoyed the History of Indiana and then headed home.  B passed out en route so I got to have Grandma and Bugga all to myself!

Grandma brought cupcakes!

For ME!!

We all enjoyed a little dinner and some cupcakes.

Then it was time to open gifts.

I got the coolest Pirates of the Caribbean castle ever!  Over a thousand new pieces of LEGOs all for me!

It was finished in no time at all.  I did most of it myself too. Thanks for an awesome Saturday Bugga and Grandma!  We were saying prayers that night and Mom asked B what his favorite part of the museum was.  He said "Grandma."  We sure do love you both!
