New Years A New Way

Mom and Dad have been in survival mode for a few months and there is no end in sight until March. So... no NYE party this year. Instead, we decided to make a very late night dinner reservation at their favorite fancy restaurant - Ocean Prime.
This is their best attempt at a selfie beforehand. Honestly, we haven't seen them looking this relaxed since the onset of baseball, tennis, wrestling, basketball, a brutal winter, the holidays, and mom's insane work schedule (which happened to be ALL AT ONCE).

Okay, so they gave me a children's menu. Hahahahahahahaha! That was a laugh. I ordered a Shirley Temple and requested the $45 filet.

Coley was a better sport. He ordered TWO kid's meals and a chocolate milk.

I put down a filet and a chop salad in no time. I left the broccoli for Ma.

Coley finished some noodles and a few bites of chicken. Lightweight!

It was a pretty special night. Thanks for a great year and a great life.
Happy 2018 to you and those you love most!
ps. We love Daddy and he must love us too because he was out pulling up the freezing cold car while we posed for this.

The Editor

Okay Mom took a selfie and wanted to be sure we knew that every now and then she did NOT look homeless while we were growing up. This is about as good as it gets when she isn't traveling for work.

Christmas Eve

Of course, you know what comes first around here on Christmas Eve! Our neighbors all come over to celebrate B. Happy 7th, buddy!

Then we give Mom her annual reminder that we are ALL boy and B takes after his father when it comes to photo shoots.

How's this Ma?

This?

You're not finding this as funny as we are?

Okay fiiiine. One good one and THAT'S IT!

Some of us are literally incapable of taking a bad picture.

Honestly...

I try to mess it up, but with a mug like this, you just can't!

Mom tells me she cannot wait until the day I ditch my glasses for good. It's the only thing keeping hoardes of ladies away!
As always, it may take some time, but we do eventually give our Mama what she wants :)
We went to a nice little Christmas Concert/Service. The pastor changed outfits 3 times! It was quite different but also entertaining.

Then it was home to toss reindeer food on the lawn.

And more goodies inside.

The traditional Night Before Christmas reading (thank you Bugga and Grandma for the pre-recorded book)
and off to bed to wait for Santa!

Merry Christmas to all!

Fake ID

Oh ! You didn't think Santa would let me down did you?!
The big man came through! He brought my fake ID to Grandma's house!
See ya'll later. I'm off to the bar!

Christmas with Grandma & Bugga and Cousins!

We left Papa and Nana's and made a mad dash over to Grandma and Bugga's house.
Pie? Check!

Hugs with our favorite relatives? Check!

Playtime with cousins? Check!

We quickly opened presents and then had to load right back up and head home for B's birthday and our own Christmas Eve.
Thanks Grandma and Bugga for another perfect holiday!

Christmas with Papa, Nana & Puppies!

On our list of Top 10 things we love, dogs and grandparents are right up there near the top. You can imagine how thrilled we were to be able to go to Papa and Nana's to meet and spend time with their new pup Maisie! She is SUPER sweet!

As usual, Papa and Nana get the best gifts. B asked for a trip to Vegas and his mean ol' Mom said no, so Papa and Nana brought Vegas to him!

Cole couldn't be bothered with anything while his buddy Tobias was around.

He may be getting older, but he certainly isn't any less fun and adorable!

So, one of us spent the afternoon loving an inanimate object...

While the other couldn't get enough of his fur family.

Grandparents, Pups, and Gifts. It was heaven.

You know... these dogs may be more spoiled than our own!?

Merry Christmas Papa and Nana! Thanks for the perfect visit!

Ice Cream Chaos

Birthday treats can be a challenge for Gluten Free kiddos. Usually Mom brings in GF cupcakes and my classmates politely try to choke em down.

Not this year though! This year, she brought in an ice cream sundae bar! Vanilla and chocolate ice cream, m&ms, sprinkles, whipped cream and marshmallows. It was a huge hit!

Then she took the extras to lunch with Coley and his buddies and created a scene of mass chaos in the lunchroom.

Okay she may have shamelessly snuck over to her favorite table of girls and given them all sundaes too. Mom!

Thanks for turning 7, B! We all got to enjoy your big day!
