Men at Work

You know we have a new truck on order.  This means it's time to polish and shine up the old one so we can sell it!  Dad let us help!

We take car washing quite seriously.

I washed this door for about 45 minutes.

And Cole spent an hour on the back door.

Who knows what Daddy was doing the rest of the time?!

We made sure to use every toy er.. tool Daddy has.

Dad tried to get us to help with other spots, but no way...  we were focused!

We each earned $2 for our efforts!  Thanks Pop for letting us help.

Teaser Weekend

Boy did we get a treat this weekend!  First, we got to hang out with Uncle Louie and Aunty Jamie Saturday morning while Mom and Dad ran a race (Dad's first half marathon!).  Then we got to hang out OUTSIDE all afternoon!

We flew our kite, ran around and just soaked up the sunshine!  I am currently trying to circle the top bar of the swing set and getting pretty close!

Of course you know what B was doing - shoveling!  If there's one thing that kid loves, it's shoveling...

No B, you cannot shovel the whole house...

We did play a lot of ball too.  B is getting really good at throwing and catching.

And you know we wrestled!

Barefoot and outside = heaven.

What a great teaser weekend.  We're certainly glad we enjoyed it because on Tuesday we woke up to SNOW!

Grandparent's Day

You may remember the mess Mom made of Grandparent's Day last year.  This year, she decided to make it REALLY special to make up for it.  She invited Papa and Nana!

They love us so much.  Even though they were just back from Vegas, they re-packed and drove all the way down to spend the night with us.  Papa loves his boys.  Okay, we love him too!

Nana is pretty crazy about us too.  She showed me some funny videos on the computer while Cole was at school getting ready for them.
When we got there, the place was FULL of Grandparents.  I'm pretty sure this is what Heaven will be like :)

I had to say goodbye to Nana.  I wasn't happy about that.

Papa sat right down and made friends with Mr. Schulenberg - Jeremiah's Grandpa.

Bye Papa!  Thanks for spending the morning with me!

Cole got to show them his classroom, eat lunch with them and introduce them to all his friends.  What a lucky boy to have Grandparents who love him so much.
Thank you for coming Papa and Nana!  We love you.

Mail Call!

When we got home from school today, there was a package in the mail for us!

We LOVE getting packages!  This one came from Tania and Derek in Utah so we knew it must be something awesome.

We tore right into it.

Comic shirts, legos, a flashlight and an awesome squishy frog?!  The perfect combo for two little boys.

Thank you so much Tania and Derek!  We love you!

We Get a Whippin'

Sometimes when boys are bad, they get a whippin.  We got one yesterday.

Mom's version isn't nearly as bad as we'd heard!  I think I'll misbehave more often.

Put Me In The Zoo

Mom took Monday off and thought we'd take advantage of Public School being back in session and enjoy a leisurely day at the zoo.  Wrong Mom!  It was PACKED wall to wall with people.

When you promise a kid a zoo trip, you have to follow through.  We soldiered on and just kept patient.  One thing we loved was the new budgie exhibit.  Mom almost didn't let us go in because she was sure we'd get pooped on, but we didn't!

There was a cool dog show too.

and we waited extra long to ride the carousel because some kid took the tiger B had his eye on and Mom feared for his safety.

an extra 10 minutes in line is worth it when public safety is at stake.

Me, I rode the rhino.  We all know Rhino's are the coolest and toughest.

Mom went all out!  We got Dippin' Dots which of course I loved and B did not.

We rode the train!

Obligatory Mom selfie.

We are not sure why, but B INSISTED Mom take his picture like this.

Of course we raced the cheetahs.

Um.. we didn't win.

We went through the budgie house twice to ensure maximum exposure to bird flu, malaria and poop.

They're pretty though!

Pay a couple of bucks for a few seeds on a stick and you'll get the birds to sit on your hand or your stick.

We thought it was the coolest thing ever!

Just call me the bird whisperer.  Or is it tweeter?

Mom wanted a nice picture to commemorate our day at the zoo.  I of course struck my angel pose.  B...  well B did his thing too.

Thanks Mom!  What a great day:)

Lana

I can't believe Mom hasn't taken this picture before.  Meet our dear friend Lana who has helped us with my glasses since I was 20 months old.  We love her and drive 45 minutes each time I get new lenses or glasses just to be sure we get the best possible everything.  Thanks for taking such great care of me Lana!
