FINALLY

We finally got to spend a day in the sun!  It started off pretty nippy, but Dad got the lawnmower going early on.  We have a LOT of lawn to mow now.

So of course, I helped out!  I love riding the tractor with my Dad!

Mom and I stayed in until the sun came up.  Not Cole though, he put his winter coat on and was outside by 10am.

A little harder to fit my big bro on the tractor with Dad :)

slowly but surely it warmed up and we shed layers.

Boots loves spending his days outside and in the sun porch!

I love nothing better than the sand.

After visiting Bernie and meeting more new neighbors, Mom brought me in to change and put a hat on.  Then we played football and frisbee and walked around the 'hood.  We didn't come in until after 7!  What an awesome day.  Please stay put SPRING!

Working On It

As you know, I've been very sick!  I really am trying to get outside though.  I want to play in the warm weather SO badly, but each time I go out, I quickly run out of steam and get frustrated.
"Mom, I hold you!?"  I have been glued to my Mama since she got home from UT.

Sometimes I get lucky and make her run WITH me, but now that I am almost 35 lbs. that doesn't happen often.  Mom says that new deep wrinkle in between her eyes is from this past weekend alone.

We are very busy digging out summer toys.

And I'm really getting interested in "bad guys."  Cole is always happy to tell me the names and functions of each little man.  Thanks big bro!

Cole and Mom got busy digging up other things.  I could NOT be convinced to touch this "snake" but Cole had a great time holding him.  Note that Boots is our shadow anytime we're outdoors - EVEN when our new St. Bernard puppy neighbor is over!

Shark Tooth!

Look what broke through behind my bottom left front tooth!

RSV

What a rough week in Vandyville!  Mom went to Salt Lake City and we both got S-I-C-K.  I was better in about 30 hrs, but little B was really really sick.  Dr. Kimmey says we were both likely infected with RSV, but while I got over it easily, it settled into a pretty serious infection with inflamation in B's lungs and we had quite a scare.  Daddy had to stay up watching him and giving him breathing treatments all night Thursday and Friday because his oxygen was very very low.  Mom watched him all day Saturday and Sunday after she got home and finally, his fever broke late Sunday night.  We were all very grateful he didn't get any worse and even happier to see him back to his stinker self (almost) today.  Now we just need to get him to eat something:)

Sorry for the lack of photos this week.  We'll do better next!

A Very Happy Easter

I'm a pretty big Math whiz so let me tell you about a new equation I've worked out.

What does an awesome set of grandparents + awesome cousins + awesome aunts & uncles + chocolate equal?  The BEST EASTER!  Here's the crew with our fantastic Grandma and Bugga.  Can you tell which of us are teenagers?

When Grandma is around, Mommy is completely forgotten.

Look how happy B was!  This smile stayed glued to his face all weekend - except when Grandma was out of sight.  Then he yelled "WHERE'S MY GRANDMA?!  GRANDMA WHERE ARE YOU?!"

We sure do have a fabulous Grandma.

Speaking of fabulous... we got to play outside in the sunshine!

Sueann does not like little kids but Shayla does!

Oh and we got baskets and bunnies and money and eggs and LEGOs and chocolate and man... we are spoiled.

How could anyone NOT spoil us :)

Of course, I spent a lot of time with my main man Bugga.  I showed him my reading skills and taught him how to play Angry Birds.

Bugga thinks I'm pretty cool too.

When you're at Grandma's house you just have to be ready to be smothered in love.

Easter morning.  We got gifts from Mom and Dad.

I put my LEGOs together before it was time to get ready for church.  I am getting really good at it.

Mom and Dad decided B would not survive an entire Easter service so Dad stayed home with him.

While Cole, Mom, Grandma and Bugga went to thank Jesus for dying on the cross for us.

Mom said she had the best looking date ever :)  I scored an extra $10 for being so good at church from Oma.  I gave out a LOT of hugs and kisses to Oma, Ota, Aunty Marianne and Uncle Rick at church.  I love my family!  Oma told everyone how proud she is that I go to Lutheran school.  yeah... I know all about being good at church!

B was still being a stinker when we got home :)

What an awesome couple.  We sure do love them!

and they even love us when we're crazy!

As usual, I made sure B got enough eggs and was included in all the fun.

I was so happy he found the GIANT egg and the golden egg!  I even included it in my Thank you's to god before bed.

and as I was making the rounds, I made sure to leave eggs behind for B.

It's not hard to be a good big brother when your little bro is as cool as mine.  Happy Easter!

Buh Bye!

When you get a blizzard on the first day of Spring Break it's not so sad to see the snow go away.  We happily helped demolish the snow fort we spent so many hours on as soon as it started to melt.

Even though Mom sacrificed her knee to build it..  Even she wasn't sad to see it go.

GOOD BYE SNOW!  DON'T COME BACK!!!

ALL BOY

We got to spend the morning downtown at the Y with our buddies Micah, Levi and Josiah while our Mommies ran on Thursday but that just wasn't enough rowdy time for us!

So our Moms let us get back together on Friday!  We did an Easter egg hunt and ran around like wild men.

It was Levi's day to get injured.  We like to take turns.  After his third head injury we all decided to sit down for a snack.

Then it was back to being rowdy boys!

DOG PILE!!!
