Ruff & Tumble

Well it's wrestling season. This is the time of year where Mom and Dad hold their breaths and wait for a call from CPS each Monday when they send Coley off to school looking like he's been thoroughly beat up.

At least this week, his face wasn't harmed.
If nothing else, wrestling sure has made my big brother unafraid of physical pain!

The Longest Day of My Life

Today, I had to wrestle SEVEN tough matches. In between matches, I made beelines for the restroom to deal with... um.... that shady Mexican food Dad fed me last night. It was a really tough day, but I have endurance in my blood! I pulled through with a 3rd place finish amongst a field of 18. Not bad!

Whaddya Mean The Weather is Bad?

Okay so Mom is stubborn. She has had "take the boys tubing" on her To Do list for a full year! This time, she just bought tickets. Then when Dad said "I don't know.... it's -7. We should cancel." she was able to say "Nope! We already paid. Bundle up Baby!"
So that was it. We pretty much put on every article of winter clothing we owned and we headed out to Perfect North.

Oh. And we brought Chloe!

Because it was -7 (-15 with the wind chill) nobody else was crazy enough to go. The slopes were empty and we didn't wait at all.

Of course, we couldn't expose our skin for more than a few seconds, but that's beside the point. Mom checked it off her list!

Actually, we were quite warm.

And we had an absolute blast.

Mom said "there's no such thing as bad weather, only bad gear!"

Thank goodness she's OCD and super stubborn.

We didn't stop for 3 hours!

Woooooooo Hooooooo!

Are those sun dogs behind me?

See? We actually got a bit sweaty.

Out to eat and back home in time for Chloe's dance lesson.
What a fun day. We can't wait to go back and try skiing!

NOT Dog Days

It is SO cold outside. It's miserable. Our little girl is not a fan of cold weather.

and even big rugged Rowan isn't staying out more than he has to lately.

No worries though. Just because the conditions outside are hostile, doesn't mean we can't create a puppy heaven inside!
