Man Makeum Fire

If you know our Dad, you know he loves his rocks and his projects. Here's his latest creation. The world's biggest fire pit!

He was very proud of the fact that he spent only $100 on it.

The inaugural fire started out reasonably.

But soon grew into a raging inferno because the men remembered their Christmas trees were still in the field.

Exactly who is this fire pit for, Dad?!

Easter Sunday

That old bunny hopped by again last night!

By now, we know all of his usual hiding spots.

And as usual, he doesn't really hide the eggs well.

It's more of a clean up than a hunt.

Mom and Dad like to help.

One of us has to be constantly reminded to finish hunting the eggs before opening them.

Row Row thought we were picking up a zillion little balls and he wanted to play too!

"Here's one guys!"

It took a long long time.

And our bags got really heavy because he left little sodas again.

FINALLY, we got to go inside and check out our loot. He brought MONEY too!

We have to be good for Santa, but the Easter bunny has no standards whatsoever. Thanks man!

Bet you thought we forgot about Row Row's Easter. He got a basket too. A basket full of ham!

After breakfast, we were off to church.

After church, we went right over to Grandma and Grandpa Reiman's for our traditional Easter lunch. Grandma Reiman always hides eggs for us. This year, Coley took the candy out of his eggs and kept re-hiding them! When we finally busted him, we were SOOOO mad!

He made up for his shenanigans by spending a lot of time with little Ralphie. We Vandy boys sure do love littles.

Bowling Night

Mom is traveling SOOOOO much this Spring. She just barely made it home in time for our Mom n' Me night at the bowling alley.

We may have been the rowdiest lane in the place. Somehow EVERYONE ended up with us.

Of course Liam and Lief were there!

B could not control his own strength and whipped his ball all over the place. Into other people's lanes, backwards, halfway down the lane and lodged into the bumper... The attendant had to come out at least 10 times.

What an awesome night! Although Mom felt a little ripped off because the Dads get a "Daddy Daughter dance" we were so happy we didn't have to do that!

A Keeper!

Mom was out of town and Dad had no idea it was picture day. Maybe it was the complete lack of planning/pressure, but I managed to pull off my best school photo yet.

Adventure Awaits!

Mom and Dad don't do a lot of dates and they're both traveling a lot these days, so Mom set up a big outing for them at www.goape.com. It's a rope course that is no joke! Here's Dad practicing putting his life into the hands of a couple of clips on cables and practicing.

After they risked their lives maneuvering through tight spaces 50+ft up in the air, they were rewarded with a nice long zip line at the end of each station.

Dad got in trouble. Mom called that one!

But they rocked it! They may be super old, but they're still fun!

Best Buds

I've been having a little bit of trouble with one of my  buddies this week. I needed to spend some time with a true friend so Mom called Co Co over.

We never ever fight.

Battle of the Brains

Another small town perk is that our teachers send texts with pictures of us home to our Moms. This may not always be a good thing for me..

Jax and I have recently developed an obsession with chess and we even play it during the school day.

Claimed

Yesterday, our bus driver got in an accident and we were an hour late coming home. Mom was very grateful it didn't happen today, because Jax and Tucker came home with us!

You know Tucker is a great guy when this happens! Rowan claimed him right away. He was in heaven with Jax AND Tucker here to play with him. They, along with Aiden, are his three favorite friends.

We All Love Hinkles

I got to spend the night with my best bud this weekend. As always, we had an absolute blast.

Mrs. Hinkle is so much fun. She gave us all nicknames.

And made delicious food for us.

We stayed up as long as possible. I literally fought til the last second.

Even though we barely slept, we were up and handsome for church in the morning.

Okay the smiles may have been a little forced.

Lunch after church with Jude and his pal Brady. The thing about living in a small town is that we all know each other from the time we're little to the time we leave :)
