Booty Shorts and Ball Blasting

We got to see Uncle Scott today!  He and Sue came down to stay with us for Sue's volleyball tournament. He even brought me a birthday present!

Okay LEGOs are cool and all, but building them with this guy is fantastic!

We decided to go and see what this "bolleyball" thing was all about. At first we thought it was just a bunch of really tall girls in booty shorts.

Then we found out that the aim of the game was to SMASH the ball at the other team and we were hooked! That's our Sue with an awesome block at the net.

She is a tower of power.

The other girls can't even get close.

We could definitely get behind this ball blasting sport.

As for the booty shorts... well these two guys were there to make sure nobody got too excited about those.
Thanks for coming to see us and letting us come to see you Sue!

In the Doghouse

There's not much I'd rather do than help Daddy work. I got a great idea to build Rowan a doghouse and have been working on schematics with the big guy for weeks.

We finally decided to transform the bottom of Ft. Vandy into a suite for Row Row. Nothing but the best for our fur brother! We are working hard to make it extra special for him. Stay tuned!

6 Month Anniversary

This week marks the 6 month anniversary of Rowan joining our family. He's changed so much since he arrived. He no longer needs his special food dishes because he no longer gobbles his food in 25 seconds.

He isn't banned from the couches and Mom and Dad trust him around us implicitly. He can be a little too fond of us though. He still loses his mind whenever we are taken away from him by the school bus or the preschool staff at Zion.

He's never far from our side but we all think Mom's life has changed the most since he arrived. He runs with her ~30 miles/week, spends all day watching her and watching over her, drives around in the car with her and plays with her at every opportunity. Welcome to the "Mama's Boys Club" Rowan! We sure do love having you here.

Smoothie 'stache

Mom likes making us "Ice Cream Drinks" in the morning and we love drinking them as long as we can't taste the healthy stuff she always slips in.

Smoothie mustaches are always a bonus!

Faces of Love

Mom and Dad had their traditional Valentine's dinner with Kent and Julie tonight so we got to stay home with someone we love too - Sydney! When they came home we had a selfie fest.

Where in the world are you looking Mom?

It's never easy to get the big guy in a photo.

Some of us are TOO easy to get in a photo!

Wake up Dad!

No that's not a heart attack!

It's just Brycey jumping on your legs!

Cheesy smiles from these two bffs.

We sure do love each other.
Happy Valentine's Day! Hope you were able to spend it with the ones you love too!

Love Stinks

I don't know what boy looks forward to writing out lame mushy Valentines, but he sure doesn't live at our house! It's always a challenge to participate without having to give something nice to a girl. Ugh.

This year we opted for "Love Stinks" Whoopie Cushions.

Along with "I Pick You" nose pencil sharpeners.

and a can of exploding nuts.

Another year, another narrow escape from cupid's deadly arrow.

Uncle Kyle

None of us are quite sure what we did to get so lucky, but this week Uncle Kyle texted Mom to ask if he could take Coley and I out for a night! We are all huge Uncle Kyle fans around here (including Rowan) and now we're Superfans! We had such a great time at SkyZone with this cool guy. Thank you Uncle Kyle!
