Spring Break?!

Well we're on Spring Break this week.  No really.. we are!  Jack Frost is up to NO good though.  We got a bunch of snow!

Luckily, kids LOVE snow.  Especially Cole and I!  We couldn't get out fast enough.

Mom shoveled the walk and driveway and helped us make all of the snow into a fort!

It's our first one.  It took FOREVER to make but we LOVE it.

So far, the enemy has not attacked.  We're pretty sure they're scared.

We got pretty tired after about 3 hours in the snow so Mom and I made a couple of La-Z-Boys in the snow.

Gun Show

Yes.. I work out.

I've been running - I can run a whole mile without stopping! 

I also do P90X with Dad.  AND, we're been learning how to eat healthy at school so... you know.  It shows.

Date Night!

First annual LuFest for Mom and Dad!  They got all dressed up and went out with their friends to raise money for Lutheran High.  What a great date!  Nevermind that Daddy's iron spit water all over Mom's dress and she had to buy this one two hours before it was time to leave - Mom said she was still happy to go out with her favorite.

We got a favorite too!  Grandma drove all the way down just to spend the night with us.  What a treat!

These two gorgeous ladies are really Mom's underneath.  Who knew?! 

Daddy bid on this awesome picture of Bobby Knight for the bar.  He said "Bobby's coming home with us tonight" and boy was he right!

They even hosted the after party downstairs while we were asleep!  How did so many Moms and Dads manage to ditch their kids and go out partying?!  We spent the morning at the bar trying to figure out how we'll get in on a piece of the action next year. 

Although... we hate to give up a date with our gorgeous gal!!  

Short and Spicy

It's been a rough week in Vandyville.  Mom and Dad both got ANOTHER round of the flu.  I know why... they don't sleep!  Cole and I have been visiting almost every night :)  We just love em!

Anyway, Mom was hit hardest so I decided to do this week's blog update.  Grooming has been a lesser priority.

It's bitter cold outside.  Where is Spring?!  Mom and Dad rallied on Friday for a Pacer's game with the Werners.  We got to hang out with Annette!  We were really good, of course.

Let's see...  what else?  We got haircuts, Jonah bit me but I forgave him.  Boots bit Cole and Dad but that's normal.  We lost power for a few hours last night and froze our tails off.  We did a cool puzzle.  We did a lot of movie watching and snuggling.  Pretty mild week, I think I got it covered Ma!

BRYCEY'S TURN!

As a younger brother, it seems like I am always waiting to be able to do cool stuff.  After tagging along after Cole and his buddies for two years, I finally got to have my best buddy and his family over!

Jonah was born the day after me!

And we've been best buds since the day we met.  He is calm and I am... not.

But we are both rough and rowdy!

He has the CUTEST big sis of whom he is really protective.  Sorry bud!  I know, I know.. hands off :)

Something tells me this little lady can take care of herself.  She is the first female to use Daddy's weight machine :)

And of course, my big bro was awesome as always.  He played with us, looked out for us and had a great time with us.

We were both really sad when it was time for Jonah and his family to go home.  See you Monday buddy!

"Mrs. Vandygriff, I just have to tell you..."

Mom came to Grandparent's day yesterday after I spent the morning crying that nobody would be there with me.  It was well worth her time not only to be there to support me!   Mrs. Ruth pulled her aside and said "Mrs. Vandygriff, I just have to tell you how impressed I am with Cole.  He is doing SO well."

Mom and I have been working out.  We are bound and determined to beat Braylon and his Mommy in the Amazing Race.  I even ran a whole mile without stopping on the treadmill.  Yeah... It shows.

One of us was much more into the shadow poses than the other.

Mom was just so happy to get some good photos!

And of course, as with most days and most events, this one ended with a wrestling match.  Boys will be boys!  Love you little bro!

Nothing better than a Sunday afternoon with your best bud!  Even our pillow pets are besties!

Wild Week

We are still doing everything we can to overcome this Spring Fever!

On a positive note, NO blood this week!

If you look closely, you can see that my tongue has started to heal.  My tooth is still very loose and very grey though.  My head is healing up too.  2/3 ain't bad!

I tried to play catch with the basketball Coach Bruce gave Cole, but Mike was not very good.  We made them paper soccer, baseball and basketball instead.  Cole also added a little sister for Mike! 

After the Lions last game of the season, we headed out to Princess Lila's birthday party!  Cole and Braylon got right down to rough boy play.

And Lila was cute as a button in her princess dress.

We spent a lot of time playing hoops.  Those big boys LOVE sports.
